Hey I'm just wondering what you guys would have thought about this:
I was in West Karana trying to get my grubs on some pumpkin flesh. I'd been there about 30 mins or so, it was almost 2am so the zone was sparse. Then TOON zoned in. He's in zone for 5 mins or so prolly. Then he says in /ooc "hey you &%^&%$ farmers, get out of here so those that are really doing the quest can loot".
So, I did a /who and there were 5 of us in zone. Someone else says in /ooc "We are doing the quest". The TOON starts getting angry, shouting and saying that no one ever helps each other and we're all just greedy farmers. The other guy says, "I'm helping my friend and we're almost done." The TOON says, "yeah right - why can't your friend do it themself? You're just a farmer, no one ever helped me with anything!"
Well I met this guy about a month ago. He's level 65 now, but I helped him back when he was in his 40s kill some Wurms in Great Divide for a spell that drops there, I was working on the Shawl quest at the time so we worked together. Only I'm playing my druid not my pally tonite so he doesn't really know me.
Anyway, I sent him a /tell and said "dude, most are working on the quest here and how can you say no one has ever helped you - did you forget about Great Divide already?"
To which he replies I don't know him. This was his friends account and he gave it to him. That's cool, I figure he doesn't know my toon name. So I let it go. A few minutes later he sends a tell to my pally and says "I'm a good player man - I just hate farmers. My friend just gave me this account when he hit 65."
I didn't respond to him. But I thought it was really odd that he would send a tell to my pally who's afk in baz when if he wasn't the same guy he wouldn't even know who my main is, right?
