Guy playing all male characters.
My roleplay roots are in tabletop D&D, so I was always uncomfortable with males on the other side of the table who would try to roleplay fairy princesses or something. When I started playing EQ, I reasoned that there was no way I'd be playing a female - just never saw much point to it, plus I felt it would make any roleplaying I did a lot more difficult.
Nothing against shims though in the game - pretty much a non-issue for me. I'm more concerned about getting groups and finding time to play, especially the latter.
Speaking of cross-dressed, I thought I'd mention that my male ogre shaman, in his black chainmail, kinda looks like he's a 300 pound bald man wearing a torn-up black miniskirt, lol. Never liked that about the ogre chainmail graphic. Looks much more feminine than male casters in robes - who actually kinda look regal and important in the casters robes to me.
