holy moly you need to upgrade your gear to be super time gear!

your stats aren't all that bad really Have you tried any of the new DoD zones? i mean sheesh how good do we all have to be now a days. even WoS requires quite a bit of tankage. maybe you could try those spell missions?

I have the exact same problem with my 70 sk and similar stats. There is a huge hole between wos and mpg that any non raid geared tank must deal with. Ive decided tokeep buying hp augs from don merchants and grinding aa's in monster missions.

Yes I hate monster missions too but its better then griniding in WoS.

GL man and welcome to eq screws tanks 101.

Warlord Turlisk, can you please post your magelo if you have one?

I cannot believe you are in full DoN Plate and only have 1658 AC.
Something is wrong with the rest of your gear maybe.

My Monk in DoN Leather has almost 1500 AC. I have no raid items either.

.....believe it or not mine is about the same and I am wearing 90% don merch plate. I even have a few upgrades. I have the don cultural bp which has better ac. I even have some time drops which have a ton of ac. And my ac is almost exactly the same as his.

.. are you talking don merchant armor or cultural because there is a big difference.

With his present stats if he has finished his avoidance aa's and has some of his mitigation he can probably tank mpg just fine with a good healer. But there is no question that there is a huge gap in the progression that really goes unnoticed by non tanks.

Again the only solution I can think of is keep wasting your plat on hp and ac augs from the don merchants and grind aa like crazy in the mm. I know both of these suck but thats the reality of being a tank in eq.

Oh one other option is to join a raiding guild and farm time/ep.

Good luck

We won Tipt (without charming) with a 65 Warrior (120ish AA), just breaking 9K hit points with Conviction. I would take you to MPG. Go go Defensive AA.

Magelo would help.. I expect your upgrades are DoDH land at this point.

If you can't handle MPG or RSS you can't handle most of the DoD spell missions.

Unfortunately, any place you can go for decent exp is basically off-limits to you because of your low HP and AC. My 66 warrior has higher HP and almost the exact same AC and he can't get groups. This is an old, sad story for most all warriors, unless you happen to be in a hardcore raiding guild where you can actually get gear strong enough to allow you to perform your primary job as tank. Warriors are still utterly gear-dependant as a class, and SoE doesn't look to be fixing this ever. :( I don't play my warr anymore.

What about your AA's? If you have over a hundred spent on damage mitigation/avoidance then you might be able to function in MPG or RCoD. Ferubi is a possibility, though I have little experience hunting there with level 70's. The exp may not be worth it.

I'm not sure if it's any better, but OoW armor is pretty easy to get if you have the damned Loyalist faction high enough, especially Tier 1. It's a pain to get, but it can be done. You can massacre nocs, kyvs, and ukuns in Dranik's to work it up.

Hit Point, STA and AC augs are definitely something you should try for,if you can get it. You need your HP over 9k unbuffed asap and your AC over 1750 unbuffed. I know that's a lot easier said than done. Truly I sympathize.

My suggestion is to keep working DoN's for AA exp, if you don't already have max damage mitigation/avoidance. Get every aug you can possibly afford that gives AC, HP, AGI, and STA unless your STA/AGI is maxxed of course. Make sure you have spent all AA's to ALLOW your stats to be utterly maxxed. Feel free to check places like Ferubi or somesuch in GoD. RCoD may be doable for you too. Good luck to you sir.
