Monday morning... again...

Thu: Grouped with friends, we started out in The Overthere as one of us couldn't log in in time. As our cleric dinged 40 the week before, we decided to get him the temp spell. Went to the Gulf of Gunthak, he handed in the emblem and we headed for the beach. An Erudite Spirit was up, but the male one, not the female. We killed skellies and zombies over and over, but no Spirit; moreover, there was a lvl 70 cleric, waiting for the pop too. After 2,5 hours, we decided to log. Dinged 38 during this evening, just one more level for my new warder! Smiley: yippee

Fri-Sun: Only about 20 minutes of EQ, got my Divination 16 pts up (thank you, veteran reward!!!). I need more time... Smiley: cry

Congrats on 38 Bbot!

Not much EQ this weekend. Wifie and I spent yesterday trying to hunt down our realtor because we came across our dream house while taking back roads on the way home from church.

Found realtor using my locate ability, worked on research skill and turned in our No Drop Contract @ 6:45 pm est. Selling agent spawned, accepted the turn in, laughed gleefully, and despawned, presumably on the way to present the offer to the other party. Not much sleep last night as we continue to camp our cell phones is hopes of contract acceptance. Then we put our place on the market and pray that it sells in 30 days.

Life's been fairly stressful lately. Stupid holidays.

Gratz BBot.

Bubspeed, fingers crossed. so much for living close to one of the fastest developing counties in VA (Loudoun iirc). a mate just sold his house in Ashbourne. made a "few" bucks.

grinded out 12 AA's doing MM's (SCM 2, Exodus, innate enlightenment) . just perfect for doing EQ for 20 mins (I even setup an audio trigger so I know when I got an invite) and then do something around the house for 30 mins. I get more done in RL and in EQ Smiley: grin

Sun: nice exp group in PoV, outer caves. Necro pulling nicely, aggro kiting. few more join, in the end we have the Ranger pulling up to 4 mobs at the same time. while the necro was away (didn't FD, hehe) the ranger suggested to root a mob right beside the afk necro Smiley: cool

decided to do a DoN. 30 mins for meeting and buffing. just to realize, that a 55 Necro and a 67 Pallie can't DoN together.Smiley: glasses
what about an MM?
Pallie replied: don't have DoDh.
oh well.
well, what about Nobles?
Necro replied: don't have Omens
went to Plane of Storms. pathing was not the best, puller died. MT had to leave. so we ended up doing a stonebrunt MM, but mask didn't drop. bummer. Special thanks to Dot and Mandie for staying through the second MM. we had no tasktimer after we finished Smiley: lol

I spent most of my weekend between MM's and homework. I didn't have much time for regular grouping, since it's end of the semester for me.

I did manage to get 18-ish aa's.

Also, I succesfully completed the SK monster mission, didn't get the loot, but we got the XP which is farther than I've ever made it before. I think I've got the strategy almost down for that one. Should be able to start doing them regulary soon.

For me right now, monster missions are the way to go.

I can only assume that they were present at the time of his capture and know why this has taken place. Also seek from Marr a way to translate the divine language. Only with it can you understand the writing of the gods. There is no more that I can tell you, but thank you once again for your attempt in returning my freedom.'

Soloed mostly Friday night in Dulak's for kicks and some gems.

Then Sunday was involved in a pickup raid within the guild. Was a blast and then we managed to wipe. No biggie was just a fun time for all.

No major acheivements character wise.

Didn't have much EQ time this week-end due to family stuff.

Saturday - couple quick MMs before sister arrived for the day. Dinner with family and a movie.

Sunday - a few MMs, some time in The Hole working on a task.

Nothing too exciting.

Friday: No EQ, went to a hockey game.

Saturday: Levelled up my shammy some. Was killing around the stables in the City of Mist trying to spawn an epic mob. Got killed a couple times by some red mobs that suprised me.

Sunday: Tried CoM some more, got killed a couple more times. Rough town. Decided to get a couple more levels before I head back there. I went to the Hole, but it was actually pretty busy, so headed to the Scarlet Desert and dinged 43. Decided I'd better start the Stoicism quest, so headed to Dulak's and found the drunken pirate. Had to clear one mob to get to him, dropped the quest piece first time. Decided that was far too much luck for one trip so I camped.

Kakar: The rest of the quest (Stoicism) is easy...

Friday: DoN with guild group, started with 5, lost Wizzy to technical glitch. Finished with 2 necros, warrior and cleric. Won roll on a nice no-drop range item. Dinged 58 on cleric.

Saturday: Picked up a few pieces for enchanter 1.0, Killed Vessel Druzlin with 5 of us (56 chanter, rest were 61-67). Got first two staff parts after turn-ins, and got halfway through 3rd quest.

Sunday: Dinged 64 with druid. Farmed skyfire for chanter/cleric epics. Chanter mob was a no-show 2nd day in a row. Got a Pearl Frag though.

No EQ all weekend due to a snowboarding trip.

Friday night went out to the casinos in S. Tahoe and made a few bucks then went out drinking.

Saturday - went snowboarding with a hangover to end all hangovers at Heavenly. only about half of the runs were open but the conditions were great.

Sunday - woke up and cleaned up the cabin, drove home, and relaxed for the rest of the night.

Friday - Spent quality time with guild members in WoS. About a bubble away from 64 on my cleric. Picked up a Muramite Rune as well.

Sat. - Work called 5 times, had to drive up twice. Managed to get my wizard to 60...in fact, he was about 3 kills away from 61 when the group busted up. Took the girlfriend to dinner and a movie.

Sunday - Slow day, so I did some grinding and leveled my monk from 22 to 25. Girlfriend cooked dinner for me. Not too shabby of a weekend.

If there was a weekend, I musta missed it lol. Did manage to get my necro to 35 and my mage to 37 on Monday though. Spent the whole day in Forgotten Halls - an instanced zone off of Nedaria's Landing. Perfect for soloing or 2-boxing for lower levels.

Also made 1709 Leather Paddings from pelts that I've had sitting in the bank forever. Sold them all too. And my main now has 300 Jewelry skill!

How do you get there? Do mobs in this zone depend of player level?
#18 Dec 07 2005 at 7:11 AM Rating: Decent
I actually read about Forgotten Halls in two articles on RPG Expert. I tried it for myself and found it to be a great change from fighting for camps in Echo for lower level toons. Mobs do not agro, so fear kiting is easy and there's plenty of med time between mobs. There's no names, and virtually no loot except for a small amount of plat, but xp is decent .95 to 1.60 % per kill. It's not a bonus zone by any means but if you want some quiet time and no hazzles it's perfect.

To get there - find and hail Eldros Danmor. He's on the docks in Nedaria's landing - the furthest one south. You can follow his text or just say "interested in visiting". Then follow the compass to the caves near JPF zoneline. Don't go to far in or you'll run into the grizzlys. There's a rock in there you click on to zone in. There are 3 main camps; bats, rats, and rejects. If you bounce from camp to camp you can stay here for a few levels. The mob level adjusts to your level or the level of the group. You only need one person to get the expedition.
