i deleted this file when i restored from trash can i asked what i wanted to open it with. I seams asthough i realy messed the program up any suggestion or do i just reload intire game??

Unless you have the computer skills to go in and re-write that line of code, I'd suggest installing the entire game again.

This is a good time for my favorite rant again. You can and should backup your entire EQ directory to another hard drive, CD, DVD or even the same hard drive if thats the best you can do.

EQ does not have to be installed. You can restore from the backup, or copy onto a new hard drive and be ready to rock and roll.

I have never lost my eqclient.ini, but before reinstalling/repatching I would wait for another answer.

Just patch, man. It will make you a new one. You will have lost your custom settings, but you can redo them, worst case.

Aye. The patcher and the client program are different. You should be able to patch. If not just go to the SOE website and download ONLY the patcher, then copy it into your EQ folder. It will ask you if you want to overwrite. Click NO TO ALL and all current files will be left alone while the missing files will be replaced.
