I am trying to give my large black drum back to the original merchant that I purchased it from and I am having no luck at all. He just keeps giving it back. Tried selling it to him as well, and no luck there either. I have tried to give and/or sell to every NPC around the lighthouse, and still no luck. Am I doing it wrong?

I'm not real sure about the drogmors, but with the horses there is a goup of 4 NPC's standing around that you can give a bridle to. If you give it to the wrong one they tell you which one to give it to. I would guess that the drums are the same way.

There are four gnomes sailors to the right of the drogmor seller in the lighthouse. Each one takes a different color drum. When you hand in the right color drum to the right gnome, he will give you back a bag of platinum. Sell that bag to the original drogmor seller for real plat.

Wait..you can sell your Drog back? or is it for a quest or something?
You can sell a horse or drog back for about 2/3 of what you paid, make sure your cha is at least 115 for the sell.
There's a gnome at the lighthouse that you can trade your drog for a bag of platinum. Then you sell the bag of platinum to get your money back.
I thought when you sold it back you got about 1/3 of the original price, for a loss of 2/3?
