UP I say, it's ready, go hide yer stuff Smiley: lol

OMG my spell book is a mess. Since the right click on a slot, I haven't kept up.

And it shows as missing, spells all those not for your diety etc, which is not cool Smiley: disappointed. And it has my level off on Kelti, shows 67, not 68.

You're right Netos, but it gave me 30 minutes or so to do all my character settings, so I was grateful, will have to see if it really updated like it said or not.

I guess all 4 million characters are trying to log in at the same time. The site is a non loading mess.

Has me tagged to a guild I left almost a month ago. Good job! There's a service I can't wait to pay for.

They JUST launched it... give them 5 or 10 seconds to work out a couple kinks, would you?

Right, they just launched it. But they tested it for more than a month now. And it really doesn't work at all at the moment. Images don't load, links don't work, and my BL is shown as lvl 35 (he is 38 right now). I think they shouldn't have launched it in this current state...

I haven't kept up with this so I didn't know how long they were working on it.. At least none of it is costing money yet.

Bbot!

You just think your Beastlord is level 38!!!

Actually, your right. I haven't been guilded for 2 months and they still have me assigned to the guild I left.

It's still a neat site. Wonder if it would be good for setting up groups for evening play after work? Maybe an email system to various toons who set up blocks of play time.

Check out webiste, find out who plans on playing that night, send a few emails regarding time, place, etc.. and Viola! A group waiting for you once you get home and log in!

Interesting idea bubspeed, assuming levels and stuff start working.

The weird thing is all my toons show zero for all stats, hp, mana, so I thought that was not working yet. But I see other toons that are showing all that stuff, so how can it work on some and not all?

During the free period we should see everything, I thought.

Can't see plat either, though I think that's just as well, don't know if it will eventually show that or not.

Yep.

I have 0 for hps, stats, resists, etc...

But my armor and items all show proper stats.

Guess its a work in progress.

Guess you have to zone with each toon before you see the stats. I played my main yesterday, and the stats are there. For the others, 0 everywhere.

Read the FAQ.

It says to update your character type /eqplayersupdate and your character information will be updated. The update will usually take 30 mins but could take up to 4 hours.

Anyway, the thing I'm disappointed about is that they left out the feature that was going to allow you to chat with people in the game via the web. I could have sworn they said that would be part of eqplayers.com. Hopefully they will add it later.

SOE has created a culture where people think its acceptable to buy a product that is broken. Not tiny, little cracks but large, gaping holes.

If you think that it is okay then go buy some Ford, GM, and Chrysler stock. They have similar products and are on the verge of going bankrupt.

Great site looking forward to logging all my characters and getting them updated.

This will in no way replace Alla. Good spell info but leaves out one critical point where to get the spell. Same thing for items. I also prefer the forum here so I will gladly add this to my sites i play on at work but most likly not one i use in game like Alla.

Good job SOE should be fun when all the kinks are worked out.

Lol, I know the feeling on the spell thing. I'm a mage and needless to say, i never bothered to research a lot of my lower level pets. The Mage list also includes spells we don't actually get, at least not that I've ever heard of.

Like Unpack Brewer's Still, that not a mage spell. And Burst of Flame is on there twice. And we get 3 different Damage Shields at 68?! One of which sounds very Druidic.. Barkspur just doesn't sound Magely to me, but SoE is crazy anyway.

Least Alla's won't be going anywhere, way too much useful information here, even considering all the crap posts.

Me: Excuse me Mr. Service rep, but this television I bought cannot be plugged in.

Service rep: well right now the plug doesn't fit the standard wall socket, but we are woking on it very hard, and it will be in production soon. Bring the tv back when we send you an announcement, so we can fix it.

Me: OK, now I have the plug working correctly, but there is no device to switch the channel.

Service rep: We are working really hard on that and should be done very shortly. In the mean time you can watch that one channel.

Me: Ok (quietly leaves with tv)

Well now that's it been up a few days, and I can actually access it without timeouts. It's not a bad feature. Some of the links are broken and I had to update every single one of my characters on 7 accounts with the /eqplayersupdate command to get their stats right. Logging them all in to EQ wasn't the worst part - but logging all 7 accounts in to EQplayers.com to check their stats sucked! It wouldn't have been so bad if I could have found a way to LOGOUT - instead I had to delete my cookie each time I wanted to change accounts.

Please if anyone has found a way to LOGOUT - pls post it!

As far as features - I think the leaderboards are the best feature that may be more up-to-date than what EQ Rankings has simply because it updates automatically when we play. I liked the bio feature since it lists all the flags you have and makes it easy to match that information to Alla to see what you're missing. Though knowing that I completed the 6 year anniversary task really has no impact. I liked the guilds list since I can see what the average levels are and the number of players in the guild. Crucial information that most recruiters tend to lie about or just don't know when they are trying to guild you.

I also liked the spells list, since I can immediately see what spells I'm missing and the AAs is pretty nice - though I wish it included the costs per level, I think that would make it a complete tool. My spell book was already very well organized!

Oddly enough it listed one of my toons on Xegony. When I created him or why escapes me - but I had completely forgotten he was there. Maybe I'll have to visit the little level 6 necro one of these days, hehe.

I'll keep magelo though - since I haven't found a way to personalize the eqplayers profile or a good way to link to the eqplayers profile. I know anyone can put my name in and pull it up but where's the fun in that. And I don't see Allakhazam being affeted by this addition, there's just too way more on Alla. Though I think Alla can scrap their Auto Profiler Updater thing - considering it hasn't really worked anyway.

Well, it is not a logout exactly, but every time I hit "edit preferences" its makes me log in again, so it tends to work that way.

I was very disappointed in the spells listing/description. Says things like it slows or poisons, no detail like here on Alla, it's the same crappy description you get in game. For example, I want to know if a slow is stacking disease counters, the percentage of the slow at various levels and so on.

It shows spells missing that do not exist. Even after doing the /eqplayersupdate, all my stats are not accurate, my bag contents were not accurate, some of my armor augments showed up in my bags and on and on.

Also, why can't SOE calculate or pick up what your augments (say your LDON adventure stone) is really worth, to match what you are actually getting in the game, same with recommended level stats.

Don't think I will pay for it, but as a quick way to check what a toon is wearing in a given spot, when I see a bargain in the bazaar, is probably what it will get used for (since I can't get my armor auto-updated on Alla anymore).

I do agree with you there, but I have to wonder how accurate it is based on some of the other stuff.
