Funny things found in EQPlayers.comFollow

#1 Dec 16 2005 at 11:30 AM Rating: Decent
Ok, now we all know its a new system and Bugs abound but some of thesewil be funny.....like:

Nature's Serenity
(Click Link for real Spell Description)

EQPlayers.com has it as:

Calms the savage spirit of almost any creature in an area around your target, making them less likely to attack. This spell works on creatures up to level 15, and only works outdoors.

I always wanted a Level 67 spell that works on Level 15 Mobs! Smiley: lol

Post any ya find....

You have to be mistaken, how could SOE get their own spells wrong? It's the accuracy we are paying for after all. Smiley: grin

I logged in a 20 orc shroud and it showed my orc equipment best part is it geared the pieces of chain from killin bandits in PC.

Also it has about 10-15 lower spells that are in my spellbook that it claims I dont have.

Also has my AAs light any I havent spent but have earned, also not update unless you log out.

At one point it had the best monk on my server being a level 2 monk with 2000 AAs =)

Hehe hopefully they get the kinks out.

It says a 70 beastlord in my guild has a 2hs in his range slot. Thought that was pretty funny. Don't think Magelo is going away anytime, soon :)

Randomly searching players today while bored at work and found a guy with vegetables in his face slot - wish I could remember who that was now, I'd link it.

Sitting here at work and wanted to check out the equipment on my druid. When I look at his gear, it is for the Highkeep Prelate he played in a MM a few days ago.

When I looked at the stats on my BST, it has him ranked 4,282 out of a possible 4,282. Now, I know that he is never going to be in the top 100 of his class, but there just has to be a level 10 who has worse mana and hp than him! :O

I think that EQPlayers has a loooong way to go before I cough up any money for a subscription. I'll give them through the trial period to make it work, then will make up my mind (or what little of it I have left).

Kronellan, 64 Beastlord

Well the good thing about EQPlayers.com is that it does not cost anything extra...it is included in your EQ subscription.

dbernor,

Better check the EQ Players website FAQ. There you will see that we are now viewing a full version of the site that will be cut to basic service on 12/30/05. If you want what you see now, you will need to cough up another $2.99 per month.

I see no changes either, all the stuff wrong with my toon at first is still wrong, with me doing /eqplayersupdate daily. Some augs are wrong, or missing, or in backpack and so on. Stats don't match toon.

I still think it should match the game precisely, knowing, how much of a percentage of items with a recommended level and so on, how many points on a wooden figurine or an adventure stone. What is the point if it doesn't match your toon. If SOE can't match their own calculations, it's sad, and useless.

And like Gregorban said, their rankings are pitiful. I'd hate a quild to use those rankings. People keep saying you can see who lied on Magelo, and I am sure some have, but I would never call anyone a liar based on what's there now.

Anyone look at Furor's warrior yet? Nothing really funny to it, but was since he was considered "uber" when he played, and now compared to today's warriors. Still nothing to sneeze at...

Hmmm, shows his character was online in November, thought he quit over a year a go...

Ah, ha! So the guy in the other thread was paranoid. There is no way eqplayers can give out your account info. Yeah. Sure. Right.

:lol

My toon has basic axe components for earrings.

My Grobb Liquidized meat is in my Range slot.

My Helmet is in a bag.

Sounds like things are working out nicely...

Yeep, accuracy awe inspiring. I think I may wait to pay them money for the service.

In the meantime, I would like to know what account info was displayed in the link you deleted RBro, just in general, not exact of course.

Tried running /eqplayersupdate, but got message stating that this was not a valid command. I checked the spelling twice (dyslexics of the world untie!), but it was spelled correctly. Perhaps this is now changed since the service went premium?

Late Reply, but I linked my stuff from a page that I was sighned into. It didn't really give out account info, just my user name...... made me a bit paranoid.

On a side note, there is no way in hell I will pay for a service that does not work. EQ players.com is bound to go the way of the dinosaur.

Ah, not to go back to basics or anything, but your user name IS account info. And, dude, if you are signed in, it is suppose to display it, lol.

:)

Before I ran the update command, EQPlayers had me with a sword in my back and a book on my head...
