Was level 30 or so and wanted to start on the Coldain Prayer Shawl quests.

I was repeatedly told by a few guild members "check alla", until I finally asked WTF alla is..

Was directed here by a RL friend who played EQ from start. And now I have adopted his account and have been posting under his name for 3+years.

I found alla by... well mostly annoying the hell out of people in game. years ago during Kunark i would shout and ask people like where i could find a spell or what lvl spell it was and people would always say chek alla! so eventually i just said what the hell is alla!? and then they told me about this glorious site with all this stuff on it! ive been happily using this website ever since.

Friend who got me to start playin EQ also gave me the link to allakhazam.

I rubbed the lamp.

I found this place maybe four years ago, linked on Everlore. That was my primary site for the first year or so.

I found it through someone in game way back in 2000 or so. It is funny though because people would often talk about this site in game but nobody knew how to spell it correctly. I recall hearing "Alacadabra" and "That Alliezasaur site."

I played for quite awhile without even thinking of looking on the internet for help. Then one day while bored at worked, I did a search for Everquest and found EQLive, Casters Realm and Allah's. After that, I felt like I had been playing blind all that time.

I give out Allakazam's website address just about every time I'm logged in the game.

I remember it well...

I asked someone a question about a spell and he replied "Hold on im going to check ALla"

When I logged off for the day i went to google and typed Alla-eq.....no luck

Later, i was looking at computer games on EBgames and i saw a game came with a free trial to Allakhazam.com

hmmmm... Alla- Allakhazam i checked it out and saw instantly this is what the guy was talking about
