The Weekend UpdateFollow

Here is my weekend:

Thu: Was late for my group meeting. Luckily they just had finished a LDoN when I logged in, so I participated in a second one. We had a nice start, but after 20 mins or so we came to a doorway where it was impossible to pull without getting 4 ads. Group decided not to finish the dungeon and broke up. Four of us went to the Great Divide to hunt some Frost Giants, and 5 minutes later SOE announced an emergency patch. Great. Waited for about an hour, logged in again, handed in four Frost Giant Toes for my first Coldain Prayer Shawl! Already have two heads for the second and the Kodiak Sandwich for the third...

Fri-Sun: Minor bazaar searching, nothing special...

Can't wait for tonight, I plan to ding 39 on my BL. New warder, yay!

cleared Cyrstal Caverns a few time. Man, I love that zone.

Did some minor other stuff, couple Aude groups, of which both I had to leave early...blah blah blah...

Hopefully after the holidays this will slow down and I'll be able to get some real play time in.

Went to Harbingers with Paladin....Dinged 61...won the roll on Slugworms!

Played around with a new alt (Gnome Wizzie)and got him to 13.

He had help...

Watched Joph die many times and in many guises this weekend...(notice I didn't say 'watched while Joph died')

Went to Ahkeva Ruins for the first time.

Ding 57 on Enchanter.

Actually, that's true as well. Inlee died in Akheva though, trying to pull mind worms by running up to a nest of them and throwing a rock into it

Hmmm. got druid ( Tsaph Katta ) to 27 ( from 20 ), in Guk. Got wiz ( yenwangweh) to 26 in guk ( from 20 ) Got enchanter to 12 ( from 10 ) ( Ryoz ) in Najena. Got Monk ( Ghonda ) from 44 to 45 in lower Guk. ( Hmmm, kind of a pattern there )
Logged on cleric and temped people in the pok. Gave a newbie a bunch of mid level monk gear and some plat. Poor guy had no idea about the game at all. Buffed him, taught him some of the basics ( map funtion, setting up hot keys, how to use the transport stones, etc...) Nice guy, saw that he made 10 on the weekend, then taught him about the roleplay funtion to hide his level.( On Zek that is important ) Also showed him the who all function.
Killed 5 summoners in upper guk with 51 warrior, trying for the elemental pet thingy ( forgot the name None dropped, 5 glowing lens's though.
All told, fun weekend, except that not one guildie logged on. Oh well.

Thurs - Was all set for a raid for the BroodMother...Nope not home. So we took our raid to Splitpaw. Insanity, I tell you. Repop way fast and hard to pull just one. So we took off.

Fri - Got a bunch of spells I was missing since I had finally dinged 54. Then went soloing to try them out. Made some AA xp and decent loot.

Sat - No play time. Had a bunch of folks over and was up way too late.

Sun - Finished some shopping for the holidays. Then got on and Pinged.

cant get it down to days so ill just sum up...

Checked on the Lfay scout for my epic but that sucker is NEVER up. Went to AC to farm cash. guild plus pick-up tank DoN. everyone getting on me because i say that its going smoothly and the fangs are dropping like watter. :) back to AC for more farming and finally ding 60!! finally get my 50% slow, 40% haste, and new pet. made about 2k in AC. bought the Attunable Cloak of Greater Pernicity for 18k and turned it over for 35k. people tell me i got extreamly lucky. did the fairy MM twice. my advice caused the first one to blow up. the second one i kept my mouth shut (which i should have done in the first one) and we kicked @$$.

Thats about it. now i am kinda torn. i cant figure out wether i should push to 65? or work on AA's.. (i only have one ATM.)

Managed to get my shammy to 49 this weekend. Saturday, got some help from some kind players to get the Tier 4 quest for the New Years event. It was a nice upgrade to my obsidianwood bow. Managed to get killed by a crazy bard in Sol Ro. Also, was in KC working on spawning the courier for shammy epic when a high level mage got bored and killed Lord Grisok or whatever. I managed to invis over and loot the books. All the way to the killing of Kirn in the Hole without hardly working at it. shammy epic is easy.

Of course now that I say that something will hold me up for 2 years...

:( Friday had a party to go to. It was good to see old friends. Saturday worked all day and had a progressive block party. If anyone knows what that is then I feel for you Yahnnnn! finaly late Saturday night I get into a good group in GE and all is well untill a Eddy Munster looking #@$% and his pet pop as I am already pulling 2 of those floating medusa things I make my stand and advise the group of my misstake and "Loading please wait" The group broke up because I guess they pulled the same group and they had to evac.

Sunday my router got corupted and I spent 7 hrs online with Linksys manually reconfiguring it. spent about 2 hrs last nite soloing MC.

Mon-Sat went on a exp grinding binge and gained about 40aa.

Sunday woke up to find sargaso spear thet had been on my bazzar mule for months had finaly sold. So I decided to take a trip to sirrens grotto to get another and work on leveling my integent shield on mass lite blue kills.

I remeberd that erudite don tradeskill book quest has a sirrens grotto part to it so hopped over to painel to grab the quest. Well turns out the SG part is fourth leg of the quest with warrens kerras ridge and stonebrunt haveing to be done before that.

Warren Kerra ridge fly past fairly fast but Stonebrunt turns out to be a pain I arrive to find almost no mobs up in zone aparently number of mobs starts off very low then as they respawn you get three mobs on respawn for every one you kill until mob density hits a certain point.

So I spent about two hours roaming all over place killing mobs to build up amount of mobs spawned in zone to high enough level that I could complete mission of killing 50 highland tigers. Well after about five hours I finaly killed my 50 and head back to painel.

Quest giver then sends me back to stonebrunt to kill five mature pandas now why he couldnt have given me this before so I could have done this part while I was killing tigers ill never know but back to stonebrubt I go.

I bag two of five needed right off bat but then hunt goes cold and I spend two hours chain killing hundreds of mobs and damn mature pandas are nowhere to be found I even kill named panda three times but no damn mature pandas will spawn. Well at about 3am I decide to call it a nite maybe ill make it to sirrens grotto tomorow but I doubt ill be comeing back to stonebrunt for along time after I finaly get my last three panda kills.

Fri: After aborting someone I love's pregnancy, I relapsed into EQ out of sheer anger. I hadn't played in two months and then came the relapse.

Sat: Began reaquainting myself with my guild. They remembered me so I was off to a fast start. My guildie friend gave me an item we'd been hunting for about two months earlier that he just hadn't been able to give me.

Sun: No EQ. Was way too busy with personal stuff.

Mon: Same as Sunday.

Tue: Going to try to get back into the habit of leveling and stuff later tonight maybe.
