Coming Back...Follow

#1 Dec 19 2005 at 6:14 PM Rating: Decent
I played back in the when like when Kunark expansion was released, then my computer melted down on me and I quit. Anyway after a while of playing other MMOs I felt like coming back. I plan to buy that EQ titanium thats coming out. The only thing is will it be hard for me to level up since ive heard that not many have any low lvl toons left. Also what classes are there more of a demand of now adays? I was thinking of either being a Shaman, Shadow Knight, Rogue, or Beast Lord; any of those have high demand? Oh, and I plan on returning to Cazic-Thule if anyone wants to give me some advice there or something. Anyway, I would really like to come back and get to endgame I heard theres lots to do now.

If you quit when Kunark came out, that was 5 years ago.

I honestly think it is impossible to describe what has changed. There is too much. It would be better to just log in start playing.

As far as whats in demand....

I play a 67 Shammy on Bertox. From what i have noticed and from what i see on my server...

You see alot of beastlords and shammy's out there, not many SK's and even fewer rogues.

Demand means you have to have them....at high levels, you almost HAVE to have a shammy to slow, sure enchanters can do it, clickys can do it, but the shammy is a better alternitve to them all. Beastlords have crack and good pets, and are a great class i think. But when im starting a group and i am looking though the list of players in LFG, i dont go though the list and pick a rogue first ill tell you that. Sure they have the highest melee damage and if they are there, great, i like rogues. Are Rogues IN DEMAND...no, give me a mage or a wiz. As far as SK goes, same thing, they arn't tanks like warriors are. Although on my server there are some great SK's. But again..on demand? no. My advise is play what you want to play, all the classes in EQ have their strenghts and weaknesses and you can find a group no matter what class you are.

I've had accounts 2 years, inactive, and they weren't deleted. Try logging on to your old account and see if the toons are still there

You sound like a shammy.

But what happens when the tank goes down. The beastlord is killed and the mob is beating on the ranger who just hit WS. There's an add in the camp and the named is at 7%?

Replace my chanter with a shaman in this situation and tell me what happens.
