So, you likely spend a bit of your free time playing EQ.

What is your ultimate goal in the game? A certain level to attain, a specific mob you NEED to see dead, a piece of gear you're dying to have?...or something less tangible perhaps.......good friends to group with, a wee bit of cybering (no need to expand on this), the desire to NOT miss out on any content, physchotic dreams of becoming your toon (Smiley: grin)?

As for me, I guess I'd like to see my first toon to the endgame. She's over 2 years old and only level 48 and NOT my main, but one can always imagine. Smiley: smile Mostly my goal in the game is to relax and let my mind escape from the real world for a bit.

They have drugs you can purchase to help you with letting your mind escape the realities of the real world.

As far as EQ..have fun.. relax.. get a couple of toons to 70 with epics and good gear.

"EQ the anti-drug"....that was Jav's sig line when he used to play. I think it was all a ploy to get me to keep paying his monthly account fee.

Ultimate goal....

Have fun playing a game with my friends.

I'm just not interested enough in become uber to ignore my real life family, friends and job to become so. I actually saw an advertisemnt for a guild based in Germany that required you not to have a real life job so that you could raid all day. No, I'm not kidding. I wish I could find that link again to show you the ridiculous requirements.

Even if they payed a decent salary for playing EQ, the second someone told me it was my 'job' it would become boring, routine and uneventful.

I would like to do the PoP progression. I really don't see myself going much farther than that, but I would really like to get that done in the next year.

I'd also like to see Aude Sapere grow. We've got a few new applications in the last week! That makes me very happy to see that!

I would just like to get my Pally (who I just started playing again) up to where he can effectively tank RSS. Plan to hit up DoN's hard once he gets moved.

My goal is to win EQ whatever that means.

Amazingly enough, I achieved the "ultimate" goal a couple of weeks ago. I got to see Quarm dead at my feet. Now I don't know what to do.

I don't care about the loot or being uber, I just play to have fun and hang out with friends.

Ultimate goal? lets see....

Get my BL to 70 with his Epic. Get some relitavely nice gear without having to be a hardcore raider. (done it and it just isnt worth the headache. besides i have a family that comes first no matter what im doing in EQ) see Aude Sapere grow with some nice people that are like minded. and above all else...

HAVE FUN

To be so bored with every feature of the game, that all I do is sit around and twink noobs as they come out of the tut. I don't need to be the uberiest but I want to see the whole thing. I am so amazed that each week I am WOWed with something in this game.

I hugged "Rorinn Litefoot" in the Bazaar the other night. I felt famous.

Have fun is my primary goal. I have your German guid example in spades. All the Anguish+ guilds on my server, raid at 3:30pm California time. Which is really hard to do with a job (in California), so being the best casual player I can is about the most end game I will see.

Current medium goals change.. Tinkering to 250 or 300. Get my DoDH spells. Get my Mage all his Crit AAs for bigger BOOMs. Twink my level 1 wizard with FT15 for giggles.

This question really made me stop and think. I decided to expound on it a bit. What is my ultimate goal that once reached, I would be done with EQ? I really don't have one.

Of course, it goes without saying, that my goal every time I log in is to have fun.

I have many goals that I would like to obtain such as reaching level 70, maxing tradeskills, etc. but once I reach a goal, I have many more waiting to work towards. I can't think of one, though, that would be the "Ulitmate... I'm now done" kind of goal.

I have so much that I want to accomplish, I think I'll be playing forever!

Would like to get my SK epic 1.0 to say I did it.

Then would like to over time work through some of the legendary things people have done in EQ ...

VOX/NAGY, Follow through all the different expansion storylines/progressions, Kill every NPC at least once!

Have fun and enjoy my freetime!

Spend time with my far away friends and maybe make some new ones.

WOW i was hugged by Felicite!!!! i feel blessed!! :)

my poor kitty on FV stuck at 49 and will more then likely never be played with any regularity. when my old guild decided to go to WoW i lost interest. he is half nekid with only like 8k in the bank. and seeing that the only things being sold in the baz are augs, i dont see me getting him geared back up again. you caught me logging in to try and contact some old friends on that server but they arent around when i am.

make a stand!

"EQ" "My anti-drug!"

There is no real goal for me, i just try and lvl up , get as much exp, AA , and gear as i can. But most of all, the game just lets me get away from the real world full of pain, disapointment, and heart ake =) Kinda like reading a good book.

I would like to get my monk past the ebil 50s. Once that happens I can upgrade his gear and at least have more groups available to play with.

Being able to solo a named and loot an uber item!!!

or something that sells for more then 100 plat in the bazaar.

At level 55 chanter, this is not very likely.

My only real goals were to get a Ranger into the 60's, get the epics, get all the archery AA's, and raid the planes. I did all of that with my 3rd ranger.

I'd like to convince Tunare to cyber with me. I keep sending her tells but I think she has me on ignore, plus there's the whole restraining order thing...

Maybe you should move on. I hear Terris Thule is hawt and she doesn't talk back. Or if you're into BDSM Saryrn can be kinky.
