Id start a poll but i cant, i just wondered how many people like the old pet models, over most of the new ones i dont like the pointy chinned satan wannabees
the only pet model i like is the earth, i dont know what the new skele models look like if there is any. while i couldnt afford a horse before soe so rudely canceled my account, i wouldnt have gotten one anyway.
(im getting a new pc soon and im comeing back)

Ya I liked the old ones too in like every case better but finally had to break down and turn em on when I got a horse on my one account.
I like the new pets. I was quite used to the old ones before I switched, so it's not because I never used them. Why not have a more detailed model? The old ones were just little blobs in different colors.
I agree keep the shape but update the textures, or make em all look like the earth pet with differenbt textures.

I dont play one mind you, But I think it would be neat to see Necro's get a pet that looks like the undead from Farie MM.
Anything besides a spectre would be nice.
lol Prmiordial slimes or cubes would make cool necro pets..
I like the new models better than the old ones. The old mage pets looked like blobs. At least now they have features.
For necros and shadow knights, I don't like the skeleton pet's eyes. Why do they glow green? They should glow red, like the fires of Hades. Beastlord's have different pet models based on their race. Necro's should, too. Iksar should have Iksar skeletons with the skeleton tail. Gnomes should have lil teeny tiny skeletons. Dark elves' should be a bit smaller than Humans'. Troll SKs' should be huge.
Beastlord pets are great except for the troll's warder. I don't like the freakish six-legged basilisk pet. My trollie would much rather have her gator baby back. /mourns the loss of Snappy.

I would love the new zombies. My baby Mage got one as a Monster Summoning IV pet the other night in the Hive and I was soooo jealous.
But the Devs (in the current Q&A) have made it clear that pet model changes are totally off the radar.

Edit: I agree with Gamingmaven, also. I've always said necro pets should resemble the skeleton of their masters. It just makes sense.

I don't necessarily the necro pet should reflect their master's race...though I think the necro's Lich illusion should reflect race. No, I think varied types of models would be nice, like zombies, mummies, wraiths, shadows, etc.

Mage pets get Bigger and bigger, compare a lvl5 mage to a 50 orlvl 70 more detail for old modelsftw, let us ride whatever we want and keep the old pet models on.... eres an idea make a low poly horsie model if pets and mounts must stay linked....( i dont get why they are why cant you choose to have one or the other...
