Best Third BoxFollow

I have been 3 boxing a bit, and currently have sold one of my accounts. I plan on buying a new account to start a 3rd box and was wondering if someone could make suggestions about what would be best, currently I box a cleric and shaman (both 70 decently equip) I don't mind kiting but that is kinda useless with cleric. I want to be more group oriented (tank etc) willing to use mage pet or beastlord pet for tank also. I have also though druid for a decent support cast and ability to kite, but not so sure if I want that. Any help would be great, equipment and money is not an option, and not looking to take out to many big named just more exp type group. Let me know what you think! oh yeah my brother plays a ranger so with that added, Hope to see some interesting posts!

Id say Mage for dps, but if not mage thenwarrior ,but youll spend more pp there, who needs a beatlord with a shamen ?Or a necro, but mage pets tank better

Pally would be a nice tank for snap agro and back up healing/rezzing

SK would provide more DPS than a pally and an extra pet and FD pulling.

Necro IMHO would be better than a mage do to more utility and better sustained DPS.

Personally I wouldn't go with a warrior 2 and 3 boxing requires utility and warriors lack that.

He has all the Utility he needs from the cleric and shaman box, Well except for snare, I would say Warrior if you want to 3box the bigger stuff. For all around general use, a mage would be nice for the burst DPS.

Realy depends on what you want to use your characters to do. You cant realy go wrong with a warrior. Best tanking ability, decent aggro if geared and played right. Being backed up by the best slows, best heals, and all the buffs he needs there is realy not much you guys cant handle.

Me personaly would add a mage, just because i like them and think they are alot of fun, Get great nukes, Great pets. Can bring stuff down fast, but then again a necro is deffenetly more self sufficient and that is what 2 or 3 box setups need.

I would second that on the SK....as you have no chanter to mez etc..FD pulling would come in really handy . I 2 and 3 box but I find 3 boxing much harder then 2 boxing ..but thats just me. So if you made a warrior instead of an SK to tank then your chance of a 3 some wipe would go up considerabily.

Now if you had a nerco and shammy I would say PL a Mag or BL and you would have an uber 3some.P

Nerco pulls, Dot the crap out of mob ..agro kite / send in pets Dot with shammie/ nuke with Mag....one dead mob in a hurry...and with not alot of healing neaded cept for maybe nerco if he is getting whacked up a bit.

I had thought SK already a few times because of tanking ability, and FD, snare I don't think is to much an issue, only in real tight spots but with brother being a ranger that helps out some (but he doesn't play much) only problem I have with Warrior/SK is DPS wise I think the group would lack some, so I think I Will either go Necro, or Mage but I havn't took SK off the table yet. Thanks for the thoughts and opinions!

Ya normally I'd say like necro/Shaman/DPS(Personally I like wizards here...mainly b/c I am one =p but also for porting reasons, snare, root, and stuns)

Having a cleric and shaman sort of limit you on utility =/

I play an SK as my main. If you give me a healer and a slower/buffer, it's slaugther time. With a 70 healer and shaman... you are kidding right... use a tank.

You can set your SK(pet)/SK pet to attack and he should hold agro while you slow. Fire and forget!

SK/Shaman is enough right there for a lot of content.. the cleric is almost extra overkill.

SK/Shaman/Wizard.. or SK/Shaman/{some standoff DPS} would be nice.

Sk easy imo .. keep the buffs up on the sk+shm pets and you won't need to worry about dps.

Being as I do 4 box on occations here are a couple questions to consider. How many computers do you have? Are they sharing monitors and keyboards via KVM switch? Will multible accounts be on the same computer with Wineq ect.? Have a programable macro keypad or keyboard?

Ok on to some possible ideas with pros and cons:
PC Tanks: Best at holding agro over a long duration and can take alot of damage. Downside require a fair amount of attention Taunting and positioning to stay in close to deal damage and keep agro. Expensive to equip. War Best overall Tank AE Taunt for mulitble mobs. Pulling skills suck. SK Great puller, FD, decent tankage, decent DPS, Snare, Snap agro. Downside lots of keyboard attention to maintain agro (Taunt, Bashing, Spells) damage migration not as good as War. Pally Decent tankage and DPS, Stuns, Backup healer/rezer but IMO with a Cleric and a Shaman not needed.

Pet Tanks Miniumal attention required send it in and keep the pet healed. Cleric will not draw agro healing a pet or take faction hits. Pets can not be bannished. Higher level pets have fantactic regen. Downside Pets are slow to establish a solid agro spells can steal agro. Once agro has been taken it is very hard for a pet to reclaim it. Pets will not stay engaged with the same mob till Advance Pet Focus AAs. Mage Pets are the best tanks and Mages have a Damage Shield. Necros can also act as a Puller (FD) and snarer, Best combined DPS. BL can assist the pet with DPS and Share damage, but require keyboard attention.

If you are a DE Cleric or a Troll Shaman I would suggest a Mage and getting the Snaring Necklace from Neraik

Edited Forgot to add Pets have some nasty push then needs compensation with 1 in front and 1 in back
