a lil help is appreciated with this one.

trying to decide which is best aug for a Beastie. Lev 70 200AAs. DON+DODH geared.

strikethrough 2%
combat effects +2
or accuracy +3

which would be best and why?
Thanks for any help you can offer.

Unless you tank a lot or get stuck hitting mobs from the front side a good majority of the time, I would bypass the strikethrough aug. With the other 2, it is a toss up. If you have other gear with combat effects and/or accuracy, I would use the aug to bring the lesser of those 2 stats up.

I'm going to say strikethru.

IIRC, you aren't a raider - which means most of the time you'll probably be less picky about where you attack from. strikethrough makes a noticeable difference - with 2% not big at all - but it's still more than the other two augs, plus it's kinda cool to see it go off and to be able to go "hey, my new aug just let me get an extra hit for 189 damage!"

the CE definitely won't be noticeable - 2 ce is like .005 of a proc a minute mainhand extra, quite literally. the accuracy will be pretty negligible too. both these stats are great top build up nice and high, but a couple extra damage a minute extra is pretty negligble (ok - if your primary and secondary have 1 150 dd each - 1.125 damage a minute)

Whether you're a raider or not, you should not be hitting the mob from the front unless you are tanking. If you don't follow this essential rule, you will make your healer very upset when he/she has to heal an extra person in the group because they are eating riposte (and doing less DPS since you will encounter a mob's defenses more often than you will strikethrough them).

The only reason I would choose a strikethrough aug over the other 2 is if you tank/solo a lot, because in group situations where you are DPS, strikethrough will have an extremely limited use where as the other 2 augs add to your DPS no matter what your group role is.

15 accuracy is an increase of 1dps. 10CE is equivalent to one level of Weapons Affinity. Strikethrough will help you to avoid ripostes from a mob since it is a defense. All three are very good for Beastlords. You really can't go wrong with any of them.
