Spell Missions: What are they?Follow

Hey, its obvious to me now I missed a lot in missing the last several expansions. I now have them all, but my time out has me at a loss of several things I believe I should know as an upper level player.

In particular, I'm curious about "spell missions" right now. A detailed look at them would be much appreciated!

They are single group missions which yield you Plane of Time loot, and a higher level spell upon completing the mision arc.

I have never done any of them since my main is only 67, but I hear they are pretty challenging and require a damn good tank and cleric to complete, since the mobs hit for upwards of 1500...

Its nice that you can get your high level spells without being in a raiding guild to get the no-drop runes. all it takes is a good solid group of 6 and completing the mission arc.
