Question for those of you who use potions.

Do you like potions like Blood of the Wolf (now Fennin 1-10), Kilva's (now Skinspike 1-10), and a whole bunch of others, being level dependent?

I think it stinks myself (my alts really really think it stinks).

Imagine it would take an entire bazaar bag just to sell all the levels of Fennin. Then the most you could buy is 20 (your level stack). Or I guess you could have specialty traders who only carried a few kind of potions. Just seems really impossible to me, and like a real nerf at the same time.

I don't for the reasons you already stated. Now that I fianlly got run 3 it's not as bad, but some of my lower level alts hate it. Plus like you said about the trader satchels being full with all the different levels of potions and my shammy having to run back and forth just to empty after one batch made. Oh well.

On another note does anyone have any new recipies for the new potions? Like Gate and Ant potions? those are the ones I have been using alot lately.

Wow, that sounds really lame.

I do have a handful of potions on some characters for emergency use that never get used (SoW pots on the necro, clarity/invis pots on the cleric) so it probably won't bother me much, but I know lots of people rely on these.

Gate is Philter of Major Translocation (say that 3 times fast):
3 Handfuls of Prism grains (PoK or Abysmal Sea)
1 Simple Potion vial (PoK or Abysmal Sea)
2 Heliotrope (PoK or Abysmal Sea)
1 Bladeleave (Only available in SH I think)
1 Yebamante (Abysmal Sea)

Few potions left you don't get to run around to make.

The good news is, it's cheaper to make. The bad news is, if you bought a 10 dose and sold the last dose back, it will now cost you more per dose.

If Ant has been discovered I don't know it yet. If you had any the name should change.

There are all the folks who stacked up on potions only to have them all change. Kilvas Skin of Flame turned into level 10 and you have to be 65 to use it. Who needs Kilva's at 65? My lower alts loved it, but not at 65. I have alts stuck with potions too high for them.

/edit forgot the link EQ Traders

Thanks Kelti, I checked EQ Traders the day of PoRs release but hadn't checked since. I also haven't played my shaman since then, hehe. Well looks like I know what I'll be doing tonight!

no apologies necessary. my back slot has a +2 DS mod and kilva's stacks with the bramblecoat on my wildlord's tunic clicky.

no, not tonnes of added damage, but, as i said, when soloing i'll take all the damage i can put out. =)

if only my regal band wasn't a 5-charge (rechargable though) clickie, i'd use that instead of kilva's as it stacks with the bramblecoat and shield of the eighth.
