Can anyone give me the name of a guild that will recruit a lvl 17 cleric on Saryrn? Most of the guilds I see on the web have a lvl restriction of about 68 :/. I would like to group with people my lvl a few hours every other day, I have never been in a raiding guild. I only saw two guilds on the Looking for a Guild tool in the Guild Lobby. I am looking for a guild that will actually have enough people in it to group with each other as opposed to pick up groups. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I tried running a list on eqplayers on guilds on your server with enough members and an average level around 25, but it showed way too many inactive guilds. I would suggest doing some OOC in PoK or asking people in groups you find.

Can also do a /who all 15 30 , should show you all the people around your level and what guilds they are in. If you don't specify a level range of at least 15 you'll probably pickup a TON of bazaar traders.

I don't know Saryn well at all, so I'm not sure what the lower level population is like. If you find it tough to level up there or meet people, you might want to look for another server that does have lower level folks.

As a last resort, reroll on Povar and join my guild. I need more clerics!! OK,ok that was just shameless.... Hehe.

Good luck!

First off you will best find a guild by grouping.
Almost all of my guild invites have come about by grouping with guild members who then asked me to join.
Have you looked at the guild hall notices? YOu may find some guild advertising for members around your level.

Thank you for your advice! I am about to ding 18 because of a great group I came across while soloing in FoB. They took me to PC. We didn't have a full group but it was fun none the less.

I have tried the Guild Lobby Posts. There were two guilds looking for members in my time zone. I don't want to join a guild just for the sake of being in a guild. I want to find the right one. Call me picky :/

I surmise this will be done best just by grouping :8)

Thanks again!

First of all, Your post did smack a bit of wanting to be in a guild in order to be in a guild.
Second, you will probably find yourself in a few guilds as you move along in eq. People change, life changes, playtime and playstyles change. At your level you will most likely find a "family guild", perhaps one that does some raiding as well.
Guild portal dot. com may have listings per server for guilds. visit a web page, see how active a guild may be from the postings.

Here's a nice place to learn about guilds on Saryrn.

http://www.mmdn.org/HOME/

There's another Saryrn message board. Although there are some nice people on the other board, it really isn't the nicest place overall.
