Late today, but anyway... good morning everyone!

Had a very nice EQ week, again...I'm enjoying the game more and more (finally that I am able to achieve long-set goals)!

Wed: Finally, finally, finally I got my Worker Sledgemallet! No more factionwork, woot! Smiley: yippee Austria's national soccer team lost a friendly match against Canada (0:2), shame on us...

Thu: Shopping evening with my girlfriend.

Fri: Day of the premieres:

- First visit to Dulak's Harbor
- First visit to Torgiran Mines
- First visit to Grimling Forest
- First visit to Tenebrous Mountains
Tried to get the strange dark powder in Torgiran Mines for the Malaria spell, but soloing there at lvl 46 without major buffs and a root spell is very very difficult... Grouped afterwards with a friend, we picked up four others (full group) and made two LDoNs, one in Guk and one in Takish. We rocked! Cleared the dungeon, and I got my first leadership point. Smiley: waycool Dinged 47.

Sat: Shopping. No EQ.

Sun: Played for half an hour and got some Kromrif Heads for the Prayer Shawl quest.

Not that I've ever done ths before....

Friday...I don't remember what I did. Pretty sure I played EQ, just don't remember what it was.

Saturday...Missed the guilds raid to Uqua due to a certain young lady distracting me for a few hours, but that's ok, too :)

Sunday...Did an MPG Trial of Ingenuity...3 of 6 are now done.
Finally finshed the 68 DoDH spell arc and got my new werewolf pet. Very nice DPS upgrade. Still need to finish 69.4 for the new Disc, but I'm in no hurry. Only have one more mission to do...69.4

Good day all,

A bloody awful weekend here. Both wife and 2 year old daughter got food poisoning on Saturday mid day, and as of Monday morning wife is still in bed. What a great way for her to celebrate her 30th birthday. At the hospital until about 3 am with her; very thankful our child recovered quickly. Home from work, but the baby is awake (at 7:00, the second day straight with less than 4 hours sleep for me; I'm too old for that now). And to top it all off, my laptop is acting up and I can't get online; see forum if you have experience with laptops and EQ please, I really need a stress-buster! Smiley: disappointed

Here's hoping that I had the worst weekend of all of us, 'cause it could have been worse.

I'm having trouble. My husband and I are doing the duo thing. This is my husbands first toon to graduate beyond level 20. There are tons of zones and gobs of mobs for the mid-range level we're at now. I want to show them all to him. It's hard.

Recently scouted out Grimling Forest didn't find much excitment there, got chased out of Crystal Caverns by orcs but fought our way back in and cleared the geonid tunnel a couple times (did they nerf the gems?), hooked up with a fast moving xp group at the fort in Gunthank. Hunted in Stonebrunt. Explored the Crypt of Dalnirs - that was lots of fun. Chilled for some easy xp'ing to finish off level 35 in the Overthere.

So, the pair is now at 36, the Druid got her horse after much whining and we're now attempting to upgrade the Beasties gear.

I'm still playing Eve-Online. Anyone else play this game? I really like it. My Intaki got herself a brand new Atron frigate and loaded it up with a new super-duper blaster....look out space pirates. Smiley: grin

I got out Sunday with my kid for the first paintball game of the season - had a blast!

Sorry to hear about the food poisoning Odzmye. That's the worst - blech!!

Sometime between Thursday and Saturday night.

Crawled in and out of bed numerous times. Elne Clare and I are fight ing colds/congestion/headaches.
Dinged to 43 on the shamaness. Did a task in gunthak, leveled some with AS mates, spent a brief sojurn in velks, looked up alchemy potions. Did a little shopping in bazaar.
Sunday woke up a bit clearer but still coughing. Muscles very sore from all the coughing.
Logged in just in time to join Aude Sapere expedition to get Seb key. Thankfully I had made some IVU potions before the PoRO changes.
Spent time running around getting ingrediants and sat down to level alchemy. Now at 100! Will, later today I think, get to 106.
Took another task and duoed in Dulaks with guildmate. Then ran invis through luggald caverns, with gate up, to complete it. Made me one yellow from 44, so I them camped the beach at Gunthak for the final bar. After that the guild brougth out all the lower levels so I logged on the 15 rogue Cump (named after W T Sherman.) We went to Najeena, and did well. Killed the froggie named, with only one death. We did have One group wipe due to being trained by a group who were not good enough for the Arachnia mistress. They did shout a warning but only when they reached the room we were in, and we were already engaged in killing a red skeleton. It was no big deal however, a clicky cleric was logged on and in short order we were killing again.
No drop for the paladin however, so his ghoulbane will have to wait a bit more. Dinged to 17. Broke up when it was late, and went back to POK. Cump is now the newest member of Aude Sapere, guild of Povar.
If you are looking for a home away from home AS just might be the place for you.

Yet another weekend flew by - I really feel like I haven't seen a weekend in months - anyway:

Friday - Got out of work late and felt stressed out. Logged in for our Time raid, started trials and for some reason couldn't get anyone to heal me. After the 3rd death I camped. My mood wasn't the best to deal with stupidity, probably best for everyone to log before I blow up and say something I'd regret anyway.

Saturday - Started my Expert Smithing quest. Spent the day digging through the bank of various alts collecting whatever items I could find stashed away in there. Picture 4 accounts, 6-8 toons on each and all expansions. I had a ton of crap to sort through. Did a little farming for the parts I was missing and started making combines.

Sunday - More smithing. Got most of the items made except the Shadowscream and the Pale Velium before the guild called the Time raid. Did trials and finished tier 4 and 5. Got a new shield for the spoiled paladin. Shield of Strife.

Sat: did 3 LDoNS. still need about 9 more fer this spell (2.5 k ice based nuke).

Sunday: wiped on Emoush. not enough DPS. only got him down to 83% or so the first time. then two tanks went down within 3 mins (one tank re-engaged mystic, but didn't bring him back to camp. when healer got to tank, he was dead). raidleader called evac.

was fun, as this really was the first time raiding. raidleader did a great job imho too. clear, precise but also witty. well, next time we just need 4 groups :)

No EQ Friday night. Found some other, more interesting things to do and needed a break anyhow.

Saturday morning took my rogue to unlock some doors for people in CoM then got my enchanter and went with Ring of Steel and got my Manaetic Behemoth flag. We went to Sol Ro then but zone crashed right as one of the minis was pulled. Wasn't pretty when I logged back in. Did some of the tailoring expert trophy farming/combines later that evening as well. I'm really enjoying these trophy tasks.

Sunday morning went with the guild to Ssra. We farmed some C3 keys for those who couldn't make our last raid on the emperor due to that and then went downstairs to do Cursed cycle. We cranked through everything until Cursed popped. Need to plan better on that guy next time. Got him to about 70% and then the AE charm thing hit a bunch of us at once and it was down hill from there. I was able to get a mem blur off and save like 5 people, fortunately one was a necro who rezzed one of the clerics so we could get everyone back to loot items from the others we had killed. Very fun event for anyone who hasn't tried it before.

Sunday night did a little more of my expert's tailoring trophy and then went with a small group to Noble's Causeway. Got some minor runes for people who needed.

Pretty good weekend, all in.

Didin't get a chance to play near as much as I wanted to this weekend because of my work schedule...this 6 day - 53 hour a week thing is gettin old. Played a bit friday night and grouped in NC for awhile with my SK. Worked Sat. and then watched my Thrashers win (NHL) so no EQ that day. Sunday played for a bit and decided to make myself a necro to play for when I can't get a group with my main. Oh...and missed CT's pop....again...hopefully one of these time's I'll catch it right :-)

Well Thursday was my last play day and picked up two levels on my baby Shaman and 1 on my baby cleric(mid 20s) in Iceclad. Recovered 'lost' gear froma body left in Shadowrest.

Otherwise was my weekend was a blur. Went to the bar Friday night. Ran around Saturday(shopping, house hunting), more of the same on Sunday. Then worked 11 hours Monday before heading to a hockey game, followed by a complete crash out once I got home.

Here is my tale of PoR expansion and upgrades.
Friday night: took some friends up and tried the The Colossus of Skylance , As I had watched 12 to 14 people do him the first night of the release. No picnick Started with two groups, finished with 3.5 groups, still no luck.

Saturday: Upgraded my cleric and enchanters armor <boxed Alts> with Breastplate of the Harmonious Soul and Robe of Persuasion , respectively. Lost 10ac on chanter for better stats.

Sunday: Upgraded <boxed cleric alts> clerics legs to Greaves of the Harmonious Soul , then proceeded to upgrade back slot items on my Warrior, cleric, and bard to:
Cloak of the Spirit Tracker
Evolving: Level 1/3 (evolves 1 percent a kill solo)
Slot: Back
AC: 25
STR 15 Sta 20 Wis 15 Int 15 Agi 10 hp 175 mana 175 end 170
SV fire 15 sv cold 15 sv magic 15
attack 20
regeneration 2
mana regeneration 2
rec. 65
wt. 1.0
class all race all
slot 1 type 7

My next goal is to similarly equip bard bp and legs, then head to Devastation and farm for arms and boots.

Lets see....

Friday: dinged 57 on my Beastie in PoV. He's coming along real well but, but WTB hps. Went to Chardok for Cleric and War epic drop. It went well when we pulled our heads out of our pets' asses. Now we have epic War and Clr that was well earned.

Sidenote: I did /ooc in PoK "Now letting YOU pet my warder for donations. Nik's Petting Zoo is open!" (this was a joke) I made 1.2k in 5 mins. Easiest pp I've EVER made and is now my main source of income lol.

Friday Night after work: Got so trashed I forgot how i got home.

Saturday: Recovered from Friday Night.

Sunday: killed the 6 iksars for my epic drop in Tim Deep, after me and war making fun of Cleric for going from one raptor on him to a whole island of em to LOADING, PLEASE WAIT...then me and war kill raptors and live.

lol why do clerics panic in melee situations? only to make things worse and die.

I called it a good day and camped, one step closer to epic.(oh for you beasties, you DO NOT have to kill Draz Nurrik in Tim Deep to get the iksar images to spawn. they pop in the island next to turn in island in the building, with turn in. GL single pullin em, bring good cleric and tank to take them all on at once, they might be unmezable. and they summon in close range. hope this helps)

Sunday Night: Friend back from tour in iraq, drank......alot, then Strip Club trip was in order. I left my cell phone in a strippers car and had a damn good night.

Tonight (mon.): Got another epic drop and now I'm 3 easy drops and 1 easy kill away from my epic. I'll have it this week, stoked.

Good weekend here guys, hope yours went as well as mine.

Friday: Decided to start a new character, something I have never played before and not twink it out. I went with a Barbarian Beastlord. I hit the Mines of Gloomingdeep with a big thud!

Saturday:Still untwinked, I finish the whole tutorial section completing every task and quest. I decide I will do every noob task in PoK and Halas.

Sunday: Still working on completing all noob quests, by days end I hit level 15 and have some decent noob armor. (note to self...noob armor these days is quite decent, not what it was when I started playing 3 years ago)

Monday and Tuesday: Still untwinked, and enjoying the challenge. It is strange how much i enjoy playing this character....

Beastlord's are fun and really powerful in the teens and twenties. The tasks I found though to drop off in excitement and reward in the twenties...or maybe I just haven't found the right taskmaster lately????
