can anyone give me a link to down load the maps and i heard u have to do somthing wierd with them after u do like unzip them somewhere lol i dont really know what that means im kinda a retartd on comps thx for any info

Go to mapfiend. Download all EQ maps. Unzip the file right into your EQ map file (probably - program files/Sony/Everquest/maps).

When it asks abouting replacing existing files hit "replace all".

That should do it.

You need a zip utility. Try winzip. They invented it.

Google. Winzip. You'll need to install it after it downloads.

I think Windows has build in utilities, right click on zip file and see if extract appears as a command.

i use the extract comand when i right click on file but the maps still arnt showing up

They may have unzipped to a different directory. If you let it default, it chooses a different one. Right click/extract again and see where it put them. Then move them from there to your Map folder under your Everquest directory.
