I always made good money by quad kiting wyverns in Cobalt Scar. They give good exp at that level and they drop gems and their hides used to sell pretty good to people in the bazaar. I'd worry more about leveling up at this point than money anyways.

Switch to the Sand Giants and the task to kill them in SO Ro No Ro? You will go back to getting some exp. Tradeskill items can be another way to make money, especially since you forage.
HOWEVER, the BEST way to make money in EQ is to trade in the Bazaar. BUY low SELL high. Its as simple as that. I have traders up as I write, one on my account and one on Elnes account. Perfect for when you sleep and work in RL. (If you cant keep your comp on a lot then it's harder but can still be done. BUY low SELL high. Very simple game.

Go to the Gulf of Gunthak , invis up and go to the steps of the temple at the far end . Set up camp there and kill the 2 mobs at the bottom of the steps ( they won't help each other ) then move to the middle and kill those two , and finally move to the top and kill the last pair. After those 6, go to each end of the walkway and kill one mob at each end.

After you do this go to the left side of the raised ridge and med up , by the time you are at full mana , they will have started to re-pop at the bottom. Rinse and repeat.

They drop about 4 to 5 plat each and various vendor junk ( Luggold daggers ) and gems. I can make about 100pp an hour there.

Just be really careful of the Delerious Drogmors.
