Passing this link from EQ Forum:

Screenshow of why the default UI makes it easy for scammer or lazy buyer to cheat and shortchange you and how to make sure you get what you expected when selling things to buyer in barter section.

Pass this around, the more people that knows about this, the less viction would feed the scammer and eventually drive scammer out of business.

I just got hit by this the other day, I'm glad to see that there's notice of it going around.

Luckily I only lost a couple K, it could have been worse.

Also, it was "Pelious" on Luclin. Don't ever sell to him.

Nice warning. Luckily, I have not had this happen, have my window way big, can see all offers on an item.

i fell for this one on a yaeth's--fortunately it wasn't a huge chunk of plat. i figured the buyer made a mistake when setting up the buy lines. thanks for posting the link and the heads up.

i don't recal the buyer name, but i fell for this on the stromm server.
