Demi Lich for Necros level 56 spellFollow

This is for the information of any other newbie necros like me. I was totally slowed down at level 55/56 after just rocketing from 1 to 55.

And then......last night I bought Demi Lich for 5000pp in the bazaar.

What an incredible difference , I am now a non-stop mana generating machine and I can kill mobs non-stop.

This spell is a lifesaver !!!

I went to Gunthak , the steps to the Temple . There are 6 initiate mobs on the steps and 2 wanderers on the " veranda" around the temple. By the time I killed all 8 , I had time to med up and they would re-pop.

Gunthak is a " hot-zone" right now as well so the XP just flew. I know it says the zone is for 45 to 50 but it works extremely well up to 55 where it starts to go light blue.

I went all the way from 51 to 55 there in a very short time. You can also enter the temple using the left door way down at the end. You can clear the room down there by soloing as well.

The right entrance door is a little more problematic as is the main center door but the left one is easy.

yeah there used to be a site that listed the details on the spells and the lich line blows the living daylights off of the C line hands down. well at least it did up to at least the gOd expation. no clue about afterwards.

the only time i would EVER accept a C line spell on my necro was when i just wanted the extra INT and larger mana pool. if i really needed to be cranking out DPS with my dots and what not, then i always turned down the C line as all it did was SLOW down my mana regen.

my numbers might be a bit off, but IIRC arch lich = something like 65 - 75 mana per tic, were KEI is only 40-50 mana per tic. that right there should give you an idea of how much more powerful the lich line is vs the C line.

now i hear there is a C6 so no clew if the lich line is also up there with equiv to the C line, but still lich is great.

i never bothered with demi-lich as i still had very limited downtime if any at all when i was soloing in the upper and mid 50s on my necro. Arch-lich on the other hand, OMG talk about a mana regenerating machine.

There is some debate in necro communities as to the benefit of Demi-lich versus its normal price in the Bazaar. A bit ago, about the time I was in the market for it, Demilich was around 10k-25k and some people advised to wait the few levels to Arch Lich. Having found it for 5k eventually, I can say that it is definately worth the price.

I did much of my early 50s (up to 53-54) in Burning Woods, multi-kiting in the clearings in front of (south of) the entrance to the giant fort. Exp per kill isn't fabulous, but I could chain-kill 4 or 5 mobs at a time with little downtime.

You cannot tell if you are standing or sitting. This is better now that you can autostand on cast (before that, I died many times trying to Feign or Tap and having nothing happen.. no message, no sound, just.. WTF can't I cast?).

You cannot ride a mount.

You can ride a mount in skeleton form but not lich form.
