Where to level? Mid 20's ShadowknightFollow

I personally like heading to Netherbian Lair, easy mobs and plenty of them.

I tried OT the other night, but most of the mobs conned red and when I looked them up here they were in their thirties.

As was said, Unrest is great if you can get a group but Netherbian Lair is great xp, only 2 zones off of PoK for quick access (or quick CR's if necessary), has several zonelines to run to if you need to vacate the area and it also has several safe areas to set up camps.

If you have the darkness series, and you want to stay in Antonica, I suggest upper guk. Great zone, lots of mobs, just do not let any run. You can keep busy there till 30. Exp is fast ( not a hot zone, but has a exp modifier) descent loot, like most old world zones.

good place to solo too, is Nedarias landing. you get the occasional pelt (off wolfs, bears and pumas), the zone is easy to access (once you have the adv. stone), and there are enough spots where you can easily single pull.

With that gear and a Temp and a stack of healing potions, you should be fine. My little ranger solo'd there in his teens and did just fine with less gear than that - I'd kite them to 50% then melee them down to death. Oh, make sure to either get Haste and Clarity or bring some of those potions too. Most of all have fun =)

if you are 24+ step into dawnshroud peaks off of netherbian lair, you can normally find a group sitting at the NL zone line and get picked up there for a backup tank (or tank) or just some dps, wearing magnetic you'd be fine there killing, you can also (if you can make the run) head over to the GE side of DSP and group up there mobs will be around level 26-30 and xp will just fly for you...

also if thats not a good route for you, you can head into Maris seru (i can never spell that damn zone right) and kill there the stone grabbers are around 25 the greyhoppers 20-24 and the zelinaks(another one i can't spell) are 25, if you can't take them head over to the rusco camp and take some of them out they are level 19-23.

you can easily get to 30 doing either of these zones, but alas some times this gets boring and so you know there are always MM's and LDoN's you can do.

Also, for those of you that say I should twink myself a little more, what are some gear suggestions. As for weapons I have 1hs maxed and 2hs close to it.

Anyways yea it seems like at 25 all the newbie players drop off the face of the world doens' it? Plenty of pickup groups in PC then BAM nobody.

There is always monster missions as a viable source of exp. Assumeing you cna find a group LDON missions are perfect at that level.

I think the reason I pulled about 20 frogloks is i feared one of green con sentrie cause i didnt feel like dealing with him. He ran farther in and i think that pulled the other camps. Plus, how do i deal with the shaman when i take these camps. They always give me trouble and there is one in every cmap usually.

Actually glade a lot of folks post 20 that I know of use the fungi not as armor, they just put it on when its time to heal up.
Dawnshroud peaks is good as is stonebrunt mnts. I take my toons to Stonebrunt from 20 to 40 with side trips to gunthak, unrest, and ldons.

Actually, I am dirt poor. All of those items were given to me by someone I was grouping with. When the person inspected me they were like, "ok, I'm bringing you some twink gear." At the time I was utfitted in Leather , a few peices from Newie Armor Quests, and a Dark Mistletoe Caln Sword i bought of a merchant in SRO for 6cp.

True, but I can tell you from experience that it's plenty effective as a main chest well into the 40's, provided the rest of your equipment is up to par. My last puppet in EQ was a Woody Warrior, who didn't start switching to a Magnetic until the mid to late 40's, and even then it was situational. Once into the 50's, I rarely used it at all since that's about the time the new potions came out ;) Either way, it's a must-have for anyone with means who wants to solo a melee class.
