Its them Evil SOE DEVs .. they are by far the greatest threat Norrath

the problem with that is Blizzard has completely brain washed those ppl. they believe that WoW is a gift from god or something. and are afraid to have to be dependant on other ppl for help. see in WoW you don't HAVE to grp or raid or count on a cleric or enchanter for heals or mob control. they even take credit for coining the term "mob" in referrence to NPC's in the game. i dunno about you guys but i started playing EQ in 2001 after playing UO for 3 years and EQ is where i first heard that term, that wuz a full 3 years b4 WoW came out. if you ask me it looks like blizzard got together with a bunch of preschool teachers and tried to come up with something a 6 year old would find appealing then had disney vomit all over the monitor. but then that's coming from someone that has played the game and can make a staemant like that from a first hand perspective.
MOB comes from far before WOW. Late 80's I think. Here is Wikipedia's answer on the topic:

Mob means mobile object. Its not a misspelling of "MOP" any more than "Character" is a misspelling of "Charter". Two different things. Ppl seem to forget history, but counting on others to forget it so that you can re-write it is just bad no matter what is your occupation.

Pipe-smoking, Jum-jum-drinking, Ring-bearing (wait...) halflings are a menace and a threat to Norrath! The buggers bite, prey upon peoples' shins and groins (as has been stated), and even go so far as to STICK THEIR HANDS IN MY POCKET.
On the plus side the kill the hobbits MM is one of the most fun times I have ever had in Norrath. No I dont know what you get if you win but you get to be zombies escaped from Kithicor who eats hobbit brains. We tried it a couple of times and laughed our asses off never beat it though. The quest giver is in Kith if you hug wall from RV to your right its a zombie I forget his name.

Without a doubt,the short ones. I shot the sheriff, but I did not shoot the deputy (in stinkin' RV). It was because the little bugger ran faster than a freakin' cheetah on Jolt! I think it has something to do with Jum Jum..
It's the halflings and their Bixie Berry Pies. They're starting an obesity epidemic across Norrath. Mmmmm....pie....

Halflings... they still scare me... ever since that dreadful day in the pok when i got jumped in a back alley by a gang of them... so much pie....
