How can i permanent delete a Spell from my Spellbook?
I remember a few years ago SoE added the option to permanent delete spells from book, can anyone remember how?

Click on the spell with the spellbook open (think a left click should do it) and simply press the delete button on your keyboard.

That's what I was thinking.

Lots of lower level spells you don't need. Holy Armor, Center, Courage, Lull as Cleric examples. Temperance is better than any of those buffs, and better Pacify lines for higher levels for very little mana. Similar examples for every casting class.

Some spells either by design or bug or what not, can't be deleted as well, but most can be.

With the expanded number of spellbook pages...just move spells you don't want to see to the back?

Although, I haven't opened my spellbook other than to mem a new spell in ages, what with spell sets and the right-click options to pull up spell lines.

The ranger Cure series (called XXX Balm) is a kick in teh face; Rk. II cures the same amount of counters, but costs more mana than Rk. I. Which I, and many other rangers didn't realise until we'd overwritten our Rk. I with Rk. II. SOE's excuse for the higher mana cost is the Heal effect: Rk. II heals for infinitesimal+insignificant, whereas rk. I only heals for infinetisimal. Both heals are utterly worthless, of course.

Therefore, to gain Rk. I again, it would be nice to have a way to delete Rk. II. I'll try the Delete button trick first thing when I log in again after this emergency patch to fix the (almost) unscheduled patch.

Some spells can be deleted but some can't, My guess is that those spells that come from a quest/turn in etc can not be deleted. Could be that SoE cant undo such a delete in the same way they can if one destroys an item.

This is my conclusion anyway
