Is SoD required to do the Old Man McKenzie monster missions? I know it is listed as SoD, but I know that sometimes means it was introduced with SoD, but not necessarily SoD required.

Sorry Pinzarn, I don't authoritativly know.
I predict that anyone can do the missions if they can form up a group, whether they have SoD or no. But since everywhere I have played has basically wanted 80+ to do the groups... I can't test it to say.
I eventually fired up my third account which does not have SoD. To answer my own question, you do not need SoD to do the Old Man's quests.
Are you on Prexus by any chance? If not, someone on prexus claimed he couldn't do one of the MMs because he didn't have SoD.
Not on Prexus. A friend without SoD that six boxes said he ran into issues with the final chest.
