Short weekend for playtime...again.

I did finally transfer my dru from AB to Povar, I have to say it feels good to have him on this server.

My last transfer will be my pally... soon as I can sneak away another fifty smackers. Smiley: lol

Good to see others online also even for the short appearances I made there were guildies for a change.

Two things I am working at the moment are a shrink stick for the bard from The deep, and the ac drop for the shammy from Deadbone reef. Smiley: nod

I got an out of the blue /tell from a guy in Fear asking me if I was working on my enchanter epic. I wasn't and I told him as much. A little while later he sent me another tell asking me if I was sure I didn't wanna pop up and get part of the Epic 1.0. I actually told him no (I was on the phone at the time and I hate diverting my attention by multitasking - typical guy thing). Later when I was free again, I asked him if the offer still stood and surprisingly he said "yes"... long story short, I now have one of the harder pieces of the chanter epic in my bags.

I spent the *rest* of the weekend getting one of the 'easy' pieces, the SMR from the ghoul arch magus in Guk.

1) Head of a Serpent, Plane of Fear: 15 minutes
2) shining metallic robes, Guk: 2 days
3) ?????
4) Phat loots: Staff of the Serpent

I never planned to do any of the epic quests. So much for carefully thought out plans.

edit: Didn't mean to be confusing, no epic yet, but it at least seems within my grasp now... kinda cool.

Almost no playtime for me this weekend, and likely to continue that way for a few days at least due to work.

Grats on Fear piece Samatman. I have done the chanter epic 1.0 twice.

First time Fear, Hole and City of Mist were the long stopping points (after 12+ hours in Lower Guk).

Second time (on a new server/account) it was Fear, Hole, CoM and the Chromadac charming in Skyfire of all things.

Fear was a problem finding the mob up, not killing it or the rest of the zone.

Hole was a matter of figuring out the zone... and being very underpowered to attempt it solo or in my regular group the first time around.

CoM it was finding a rogue to pick the lock the first time, the second time an SK showed me that he could shoot an arrow from the ground floor and pull my needed npc down to us (with a lot of pals... but he feigned, we tagged and I got my piece stupidly fast).

The Skyfire Charm was a pain the 2nd time because I was in a lousy guild at the time and didn't know any trackers that still played. I got the piece after doing a clerics drops for hours and being told my mob was up on track... and having to beg the druid from the guild that was already in the zone to please show me the mob before it got killed by other npcs... ahh memories of lameness.

The first time a druid in my guild went out of his way to track several of the named for it. He wasn't as high level or well-geared as my later guild mates, but a better druid by far.

Let's see.
Friday I bounced around on druid and beastlord. Druid died again in Howling stones, but not before completing task and dinging 53. Beast went to griegs with a stop over in dsp trying to get the hoppers back up. Made potions on shaman.
Watched Casino Royale on dvd

Saturday Worked on ship, very busy even though day stated out raining. Went to Bsfs meeting came back home, checked with aude sapere folks and then logged onto beastlord. Went to griegs end burned lod.

Sunday Work on ship. Came home and found elne had the energy to cook! I finished cooking the pork loin. Took the beastlord to griegs end. Burned lod and adventure potion. Ding 56 and 57.

Hmm.. Let's see..

Friday & Saturday.. I grinded out some aa's in Plane of Fire. Was able to get around 45 of them, which is pretty nice for me. I tend to get bored easily if I solo.. and was able to get a group going for a few hours.

Sunday.. I relaxed.. did a lot of crafting to clear out junk out of my bank. Was able to evolve my research trophy. Yay! :D

That's about it for my weekend.
