Ok being new to ever-quest my question is what kind of computer should I get I will list 3 or 4 choices and I am on cable internet access.

Someone will reply sooner or later. You can repost this in the tech forum for perhaps a quicker reply or look in the asylum for a thread i started called Build me a computer for $500.

Cant really comment on your 3 choices, but if you are only going to be playing eq you dont need to spend over 600.

Just so you know, Sony doesn't support Laptops for EQ, but most work with it as long as they meet the minimum specs, which any new computer should by alot, and even be way over the recommended specs for the game.

Also, I'm with Jonwin, tech forums better place to post these kinds of questions.
