No Death Penalty for EQ at max Level Petition!Follow

Ok my first MMO was long ago it was called Everquest online adventures and in that game you got XP Debit and also lost money when you die BUT as soon as you reach max lvl witch was 50 when i played you then had no XP loss at all!

Becomeing lvl 50 was something verry fun in the sence that you could do crazy things and not worry about XP loss it was a masive reward for becomeing max level and felt great just to have that fealing of freedom.

In EQ You still lose XP at max level when you die.... I am pritty sure the major majoraty of people would prefer to have no loss at max level and only lose XP while leveling to max level and would like that freedom of being able to try anything ones getting to the highest level in the game.
Mabey if enough of us let Sony know this they might chainge it for max levels.

Since you have to make a Petition to talk to anyone from SOE in game mabey we should make one where we have a chanse to chainge the game for the better lol and write a petition to SOE requesting this chainge in the game.

All i need is a repply to this post from you saying anything witch will state you agree with this chainge and i will make the petition directly to SOE myself with a number of sig's total and a link to this page.

The death penalty at 85 is already trivial. If anything I would prefer for the death penalty to be more severe, not less.

I really see no point. Part of playing is also maintaining your level. You are given the option to split your xp even just a little to keep up comfort zone into your level. You fear that much of losing your level?

The more I think about it, the more unbelievably silly this suggestion seems. With no corpse runs, and anyone being able to hire a merc to 96% rez themselves, at level 85 there is effectively no actual death penalty. Having to suffer 4% of a normal XP death's loss of XP is pretty much imaginary. It barely takes any effort at all to maintain 85 even if you die a hundred times a day.

Death penalty? What death penalty?

Which also brings up the requests I hear occasionally in the guild lobby for a rez...

yet when offered a "90% rez" from a dru or shammy, it is like I offered them an insult, lol.

Very silly indeed.

That's the reason why druid/shammy rez is useless. Can't even use it when in combat for battle rezzes.

When the raid wipes (and by some miracle, I'm the only one left) I'm asked to call a cleric back to do rezzes.

The only time I use the druid rez, is when I've done something stupid while I'm out soloing and don't want to run all the way back to the lobby to get a 96%.

BAH!!!

Is the additional 6% difference really that much to overcome? I will gladly accept any rez 90% and higher just to avoid the multiple zonings. Exp is very easy to gain; therefore, I don't see the issue.

I also, use my 90 rez, the exp loss/vs xp gain is so minimal these days, I just /shrug my shoulders when confronted with these attitudes.

Hard to over come? No. But that still doesn't make 90% desired by most.

Mabey it is a case of EQOA being my first MMO and wanting to repeate it in some way.

Thanks for your responce i'm going to call this a closed thred lol.
