Hi everyone! I am thinking about returning to EQ after a 4 year break, I played wow for the 4 years that i have not played EQ. It is just not the same, i miss all the eq content, all the epic adventures, all the epic weapons, i miss my 75 mage with 1.5 epic =/... I am not sure if i will be able to reactivate my account so if i can not, what do you guys think i should make, a necromancer or a magician? And if so what server should i play on that is highly populated with easy to find groups for leveling. I am Eastern U.S standard time. Could anyone give me any suggestions or information on how the game has changed since The Serpents Spine? thats when i stopped playing.

Game changes? Read the returning to game/been away thread on this forum. Then reread it.
If you enjoyed mage go ahead and stick with it. Using mercenaries has added a new twist to the game.
Povar after the merge has a decent Eastern time crowd. I can't speak for any other servers.
