#1 Feb 22 2011 at 10:56 PM Rating: Decent
Anyone have a list of this? I'm looking for 58-68 zones. I dont have access to snare nor killing blow yet.

Most all mobs will run at low health, the only exception to this is undead and even then it's not 100%. Try Crypt of Nadox, I believe it's mostly undead. Alternately you could invite a snarer, zerker, ranger, necro, wizzy, druid, sk, bard.

What class are you?

Thanks for the response, class does not matter, please read the OP. Also, thats common knowledge and not the answer I seek, perhaps I did not communicate my question well enough, let me try again:
What zones have mobs that normally do not run at low health (vs.L80 and vs.L85)? I do not have access to (or want to use) snare or root. Grouping is out due to play times.

And FYI, Crypt of Nadox is outside the scope of the level range requested, thanks for your input, but....(will not flame)

In your original post you stated "I'm looking for 58-68 zones"...the Crypt of Nadox recommendation is right on for those levels.

Did you mean higher levels?
#5REDACTED, Posted: Feb 23 2011 at 4:10 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Lets not argue semantics,1) its not 58-68, 2) its listed as a level 50 hotzone, mobs I seen were green, so on to the next zone, plus I didnt feel like fighting thru a whole zone of green/light blue mobs in a zone that has, for lack of better term, regen nerfs and then there is the overly high HPs for mobs of that level. IMHO its a useless zone for leveling in, good for swarming (paid power leveling dirtbags). Shall I go on about the evils of this zone? Or do you not have am idea about what I am saying? to each his own mmk?

"I dont want to seem like an ***"

If you need to say this...it's already too late.

In Crypt of Nadox, there's a large dock area further in. Lots of mobs there would serve well into the 60's no problem. They're undead, and won't run. You can invis past the living mobs to get to the undead section without fighting through. The living side of Nadox has mobs in the 50's, yes, and therefore it's a 50's hot zone. I spent a lot of time soloing in the zone in both the living (temple area) and undead (docks) portions.

There are also undead in Natimbi, not far from the zone in who hit pretty hard, but it's possible to pull them singly if you're careful.

Or undead murkgliders in Noble's Causeway--they hit hard, again, but it's possible to solo them if you can kite them somehow or if you have a healer merc possibly.

The undead fallen heroes in Arcstone--again, they hit hard, so having heals or an ability to kite them would be important.

Undead in the Barren Coast might also work for some of the time. It's difficult to pull them singly, however.

Using once piece of Marres response: "Or undead murkgliders in Noble's Causeway--they hit hard, again, but it's possible to solo them if you can kite them somehow or if you have a healer merc possibly." basically sums up why knowing what specific class does matter.

As a kiter, the undead murks are a ridiculously good solo camp for a long time. Pretty much useless to a solo melee in my view.

A zone that hasn't been mentioned is Halls of Betrayal which is a really good (if not fantastic zone) of non-runners. For xp purposes it's good because you get yourself down there and stay there until you are done. It's recommended 53-63 so it covers part of the range said by the OP in the OP.

Crypt of Nadox is listed as 50-65 so clearly meets the query of the OP.

The other posters here (not me, I don't know high level stuff) can give very precise and insightful answers when they know the specifics.

Example:
Soloing a warrior without mercs vs. non-runners (so pretty much undead) from 58-68 is a totally different situation than some sort of PLing involving an 80 or 85 character --which is kind of what the 3rd post implies.

edit: spelling

Arcstone undead will not run. Perfect for your level range. Nadox undead will be mostly lb to a 68.
Snare potions are available, but you have to have a decent throw skill and the mobs can resist.

Dragonscale Hills has very few runners, only the clockworks and minotaurs (which are a bit rough for 68 anyway) will run.
Most everything else like vipers, shadowcats, doombugs, crows and wolves will not run.
Not sure about the brownies (Darkvine mobs) but at 68 they'll rip you a new one, best avoid those solo.

Another good thing about Dragonscale Hills is the "farm" camp and it's repeatable tasks.
An hour or 2 grouping at that camp will earn you a lot of xp at 68.
