3 Boxing Follow

I would really say it depends on what you are trying to do. Mage pets can tank fine for almost all situations (except for the mobs that pull you in....), shaman is great for many things, bst can replace a shaman in many instances and if this is a main char could help tank/offtank, and pet at higher levels can tank decently, druid can be nice with the mag bst since it can add extra healing/pulling with fade, snaring, etc, or can use a real tank class and have the mag pet be more dps. SK have a lot of advantages for tanking with a mage as they can do some slows and such, paladins can heals quite well, warriors can take the punishment. Necro can also slow and are amazing when used well. So overall if you 3 box...the combinations are almost endless what you can do depending on how you want to balance your group. Almost any class can be paired with the right group using mercs and 2 other bots, you just need to choose how and what you want to be doing with them.

I've casually two boxed SK/Mage or SK/Shaman for about 6-7 months. The SK is on silver account and others on same gold account. All are at level 71 with between 800 and 900 AAs.

The former arrangement seems best for the LB farming and doing the dailies. The latter has less DPS but a little better with yellow mobs.

Sure, the SK a little work on the keyboard but better to keep busy than get bored. If I don't get flustered in a bad pull I can easily hold aggro on 3-4 mobs. The mage pet of course can pick up any strays.

I've just started three boxing SK/Mage/Wizard. The wizard is on free account until I get my 250 AAs and need to upgrade to silver. Wizard just about 58 and no AAs so barely scratched DPS potential.

I don't use ISBoxer or other tool so have to be careful swapping around. Basically, I've set up the three windows at 1680x1050 on a 1920x1200 monitor and I just click on the window title bar.

The mage and wizard are very macro friendly.../assist SK, send in pet, /mercassist and 2- 3 damage spells. And so nice to have Wizard to port around and Mage to call to the setup spot.

I'm probably going with one healer and two wizard mercs but I rarely play with mercs anyway. At these low levels would rather struggle a bit and be forced to learn classes. Plus I gather all the experience.
