So what did you do this weekend?
We had a skating competition, so that ate all of Saturday.
Spent time in a nice Unrest group on Sunday on my Warrior. Although, not having a magik weapon did put a hamper on things (need to get a nice magik weapon for my 18 barb war. Feel free to toss me suggestions. Have a level 30 shaman that can help as well.)
Also finished Assassin's Creed II yesterday. Stuck in that one tomb for like a week. Finally managed to finish it, and then the rest of the game went quickly. Gonna move on to Brotherhood soon.
Friday I did log the cleric on Vulak. Tried to solo some sarnaks using pacify, but forgot that the partisans were casters. The dots did me in as I tried to run to safety. Dots will still hit you under DA. Watched the movie Pursuit of the Graff Spee Elne watched with me.
Saturday I worked on the ship, came home took a nap then went with Elne Clare to the Baltimore Science Fiction Society picnic. Good food and conversation abounded.
Sunday I again worked on the ship. Came home fixed a small dinner of cold meat and carrots and played a random map game of Warlords 4. Watched tv and a movie MICMACS.
Saturday I worked on the ship, came home took a nap then went with Elne Clare to the Baltimore Science Fiction Society picnic. Good food and conversation abounded.

Spent part of the weekend doing pick up groups with lower toons. I really forgot how much fun this could be. We all have had those bad groups that make you just want to box everything, but I found a few fun players for my lower levels and had a wonderful time.

Logged in the FV trader Friday night and by Sunday (when I had time to look in at it) I had actually made some modest sales. Not enough coin to buy anything fun or useful yet, but nice to clear out some space (down to 32 things on trader!).
Sunday I had a small window to play in, as I was already logged into FV I decided to check on my necro I hadn't played in some time... I was camped in the lighthouse of Gulf of Gunthak (A failed errand iirc) so I peeked into Nadox the hotzone.
At 70 it was too green to bother with so I zoned into Hates Fury. HF was a mix of grey and lb for the most part. Killed some named and poked around, which I had never actually done before (only previous scouting foray there a few years ago was a disaster).
Gave up on that pretty fast and ran over to Seb to kill some jugs. Ran out of time so just camped out there.
Hoping to get back to my Vulak warrior this week. Think I left him at level 5 in Lake of Ill Omen. I love that there is people in that zone on TLP...

Back from vacation. Got the cycle running this weekend after the (now rare) cam pinion gear came in the mail. It's been 8 years and the bike started on the first crank (glad I drained the carb in 2003). Pretty satisfying weekend all said and done even if I didn't log in to SOE.
On the flip side, I am extremely interested in switching to station access after hearing it is being re-tuned to $20 a month... EQ1 + Vanguard would be an interesting combo for that price. My only disappointment is SWG going away from the package.
Vulak: Kunark is open! Now I have the extremely difficult decision of re-rolling an iksar and playing my racial preference or plugging along as a human.
They say chicks dig the tail...
