Strange New UI IssueFollow

A new UI issue has popped up, but only on my main toon. This has happened twice so far:

All is going well, then out of the blue (usually after zoning or starting EQ) I cannot get the list of spells to appear by clicking a spell gem and the menu of options won't appear when I click a chat window. I have "fixed" this thus far by deleting the UI.ini file of this toon and copying the UI.ini file of another toon that isn't having the problem. That works fine, until it happens again.

Has anyone had this problem and/or knows of a fix for this besides what I'm already doing? Sometimes I have to copy the UI file several times before it works and I feel there has to maybe be a line in the UI code that I could fix without having to copy another toon's UI.ini file.

As always, thank you very much for any suggestions/ideas on this.

I'm having an issue that may be similar to yours, so looking for an answer. Just recently, last coupe of weeks or so, first my main and then one of my alts lost part of the display window in /barter. When I do a search for buyers, nothing displays in the /barter window but in Main Chat a line shows, e.g., "There are 2 buy lines for xyz." I can't see prices or buyers. A few days later, it happened to one of my alts as well. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Azalysa, Options (Alt+O) Context Menus button should fix it, or adding ContextMenus=1 to your [Main] section of the UI_character_server.Ini file will fix it.

Lonsesor, sounds like part of the window got sized down to nothing (similar to the Quest Journal). You can try to stretch it back out, or copy the [BarterMerchantWnd] and/or [BarterSearchWnd] section from an INI file where the window is not messed up. If you don't have any toons with those sections, you can try deleting those sections from the messed up toons INI files.

Yther Ore.

Worked like a charm. Thank you so much once again, Yther. *smiles*

Lonsesor, I hope your UI issue is back to normal as well.
