Hello,

Anyone know why this keeps happening in this little computer (running win7-64 bit)? I used to be playing fine last night, are yet to installed or updated anything and suddenly I purchase this message while i try to signing in "D3DX9_30.dll missing?". It really is happened to my opinion several times since i have started playing AC again and it is very frustrating. I have done a search as well as file is due to my windows\system32 directory (and also a few other places).

Download from here: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=35

Save it somewhere easy to find (My Documents or Desktop for example). Right-click and Run as Administrator. Restart after complete if not prompted to. This should fix the problem.

Yther Ore.

You can download the missing d3dx9_30.dll file from the link provided below:

http://www.d3dx9.net/download-missing-d3dx9_30-dll/

After downloading the missing d3dx9_30.dll file, restore this file into System32 folder.
Path to System32 folder is:

C:/ Windows / System32

Note: C: Drive is your Window Drive.

You may need to restart your PC in order to make the changes effective. This is the source, which is best for solving this sort of dll related issues.

I had this issue when I patched last. I use my main pc and my laptop. Laptop started getting this message after I patched main and then copied the EQ folder over to the laptop. I finally fixed this issue by deleting the "EQclient.ini" file from the laptop. It was trying to use the main computer resolution setting and that was causing the conflict. Doing this caused it to re create the file with the laptops default settings and fixed the issue for me.

Aye, you should always delete the EQClient.ini file when copying the game from one computer to another.
