Lesson of the Devoted is a "veteran award". The vet awards are tiered based on SOE calculation of how long you have paid for your account. Every year you show as paid you are supposed to up a tier. Every time you go up a tier (i.e., your character you claimed LotD on) you gain another new ability AND another character can claim the first tier. Eventually many characters can have LotD.
I've got LotD waiting to claim (at least once...) because I play so many alts I end up abandoning that I don't want to waste it. I probably wouldn't put it on a character now till I got them to level 70 and a couple hundred aa just to feel that I might keep playing them, but that is me.
Ah, ok. I played for 7 years straight before going inactive for 3 years so the Veteran Rewards I have would be for those 7 years. Per your explanation, my LotD only currently works for the account and, although I've used it on other toons on that account, it's only when the time is available again from another one.
Does sporadic playing, like playing 2 months here and there, add up for more veteran rewards, or does it have to be an entire year?
I only have 3 toons (well 4 if I count the one I just began on the progression server), play my main 98% of the time, just dusted off my Pally and now play her more often, and the third on rare occasions as well as being my Bazaar mule.
