Me neither. Thought it was my network at first, but other sites are responding just fine.

It's not another hack, they defaced the Sony front page last time they got hacked. Plus the group that hacked Sony last time has since disbanded.
Down here as well, I would surmise some infrastructure networking issues are impacting Sony's ops.
I cant get in i checked out my internet its running fine. Bad think is I was in a ldon me and my brother. Cant get on the eq froms I just tried.

So all Sony sites are down? Can not get on any of the sites or log into any of the games atm.

russell, all of Sony is down atm. I bet GMs are scrambling to figure out what is going on, and seeing as they have Datacenters as well as a back up datacenter, and they're in several different states and countries, its something other then a power outage.
Seems like everything soe run's that i have tried is down.
I'm in EQ with no troubles... I think it is the software SOE installed that boots everyone using the 3rd party hack software.
Sony wants us to watch the Presidents speech :)

Oh Togikagi....you just had to spoil the fun. I liked the 3rd party hack ware storyline better. I was in the game and got booted, so the report isn't exactly accurate.

servers may be down but i can ping the web addy for eqplayers but the web server appears to still be down...
Login servers are up currently but not all servers may be.

Only server up atm is the European server. According to News10 doesn't look like they'll have power fully restored til sometime tomorrow.
Ofcourse this had to happen during my vacation..haha There are so many people on the european server that you can't even get into the tutorial.. it says 2 many entities and you're stuck in the jailor area.. rofl. Can't even start without the tutorial, it sends u to it anyhow.. Such fail.

HAHAHAHAHA..... sorry but it funny :P see what its like to have servers down during your prime time playing time? Thats what we on AB have put up with for as long as I can recall and I play since 2000. Imagine what we go through just after a new expansion is released, not being able to play sometimes for days on end due to patches
