I know shadow knights are intelligence casters, however I know agility and dexterity are important statistics as well. I have 25 bonus points to spend so which is more important. Intelligence will give me bigger mana pool and think help my spells fizzle less. Dex and agi will help with weapon procs and mobs hitting me less. So which of these three stats are hardest to raise and will help me from level 2 to end game level 95? I know aa's, will help and aa's are avaible to help make spells not to fizzle.

Next debating between ogre for frontal stun resists or iksar for ac bonus. I know thete are aa's for stun immunity, so is ac that iksar receive that significant?

Is it better to have a shield and sword or a two hander weapon?

If you are going to be a SK you need to go to evilgamer.net and read read read.

Here are my thoughts:

Forget int; go all stamina and then agility. You are a tank and you are going to get hit. Our casting is limited to self healing, snaring, and a small amount of DPS especially at lower levels. Therefore mana shouldn't be as much of a concern as hit points and being able to take hits.

By the time you get to level ~50 it will not matter. You will be 255 (the cap at 50) in everything that matters thanks to defiant armor. In other words, your intelligence will take care of itself.

I was an Ogre before I switched to Dark Elf. I, like you, wanted the front stun immunity. Ogres are big, they get stuck in world geometry, and in old world dungeons they have to do a lot of crawling. The frontal stun immunity doesn't matter at higher levels. The AA make up for most of it and at level 90 I only get stunned when I get a stun spell cast on me which would also affect Ogres anyway. Don't play an Ogre just for the front stun ability like I did. You will just hate getting stuck on sconces, doorways, and in the ceiling.

The Iksar AC bonus isn't a reason to play an Iksar anymore. Read on evilgamer.net about it (there is a lot of number crunching and testing to back it up). The AC bonus disappears pretty quickly as you level.

Two hander for DPS, sword and board for the hard stuff. My own rule is if I can tank it with a 2 hander then I will use a 2 hander. If I can't or the mob is giving me issues then I break out the board. Keep ALL your skills up even piercing and 2 handed piercing because you will likely need to use those skill eventually. Also shield AC is not affected by the softcap so put your best AC augs there.

Welcome to the dark side.

Every character I roll I put all the points into STA that I can and the rest into agility.

Defiant gear alone makes stat maxing rather easy prior to going madly into AA. Even prior to defiant, I never had a problem stacking on other stats (i.e., Int on my chanter).

This includes my progression characters.

The only consideration about agility is to have it over 75 as less than 75 you will see an amour class decrease. However as others have said the newbie defiant gear will usually add enough points you really do not have to worry. I would choose iksar as they also have the forage ability, or maybe drakken for the added dps of their breath.
