Wizard Epic 1.5 pre-quest helpFollow

After five or so years, finally got all the runes to combine in the Spell Research Kit (information from GM) and travelled to Steamfont to talk to Yama. Followed all the instructions, used up all the charges and he said basically "I dont know why Talwyn sent a useless person. Go away." and refused my help. ?? Does this mean I have to re-do the whole thing again? Can someone tell me how to recharge the spell ? I have 0 charges left and failed the last part somehow it wasnt working, or was bugged or . I cannot make the Spell again since one of the runes is given to you by Talwyn Flamecaller and he wont give it to me or recharge the spell for me, turning it in or hailing him with spell on cursor, please help. Or should I just hang it up and say forget it to all the Epics? lol Thanks for any advice. Jaelithian Fyreheyre (Level 87th season wizard)

Spell: Electrical Charge should have 10 charges and that part of the wizard 1.5 pre-quest only requires you to click 4 times. Were the other charges used up in failed attempts at recharging the battery and how far did you get with Yama? Were any of the clicks for Yama successful?
If all else fails I would send in a /petition with as much info on exactly what you did, believe it or not EQ customer service is pretty good and you should get an answer within a day.
Class epic is an EQ rite of passage, go for it man.
