I use only the EQ portion of this site, and log in to the EQ page. Why for god sake am I subjected to a WOW banner surrounding my EQ content? I pay for premium so I don't have to be dealing with that crap...but on this post form there is a WOW banner, and a Coke Zero ad, and a RIFT thing, and so on. Premium says "100% ad free"...enough already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

After you log in the large WOW banner should dissapear. Only a few small adds should appear on the right hand column if at all. This is on the ZAM EQ "front" page only.

One thing I'd mention is that despite the drop off in the EQ playerbase (and as a result the amount of contributers to ZAM-EQ) over the years, the standard of ZAM-EQ site has been maintained. I myself am no fan of spam etc. but the supplementary income from adds may be a reason why it has been possible.

As the above poster said.. once you log in, there are absolutely no ads.. that is, if you're premium. Only time I see ads if when I have to reboot my machine and haven't logged into the site yet. No need to get stressed out. =)

If you're not paranoid at all, you can have your browser remember your login and password, and you shouldn't have to log in any more, just go to the website, and wah-la, you're logged in.

I just recently subscribed to ZAM and, especially here on the forums, I don't see any ads at all.

I was logged in when I posted. Just like today. Today there were no ads...I don't know why there were ads when I originally posted. However when it says 100% ad free, then that is what I expect when I pay my fee.

If you were logged in, then it probably was just some weird, random anomaly. If it happens again though, I would report it to the site feedback forum at http://eq.zam.com/forum.html?forum=3 so a developer will see it. Most don't browse the game forums much unless they happen to play that game, but they do check the feedback forum, and even if they don't the customer service people do, and will set up a ticket for it.

Everyone just assumed you weren't logged in, since you will see ads, if you are not, and you hadn't mentioned that you were.

Hope it doesn't happen again, but if it does, feedback forum should get you a developer / admin response, and hope this helps some.

EDIT: Also, if you just recently signed up for premium, you might want to clear you browser cache, just in case that was the cause (unlikely, but could of happened).
