By Sunday I was ready for the last trade skill for this Shawl - jewel craft. From doing some reading it appears to be a potentially expensive skill up. (Level 172 needed for the Shawl combine.) I've never quite figured out how some people make so much plat in EQ; I'm assuming some is by selling loot from higher level zones. I set up my trader overnight on Friday and Saturday and made approximately 2,000 pp. Not a lot, but something.
Instead of beginning jewel craft yesterday I decided to organize my bank. It was totally full, much of it with trade skill supplies. I patiently looked up each item I had and got my bank well-organized. I was amazed how much stuff I had that I no longer needed. I was very pleased to free up some much-needed space in my bank.
(Edit: While researching info re: Shawl #7 I noticed there is now a Prayer Shawl Quest 2.0. Nothing in EQ ever quite "ends" - lol.)
My monthly Station Pass expired last night. I may give EQ a bit of a break...or not...lol. At the moment I am downloading WoW, having decided to purchase it after about a month or so of playing the trial.
My weekend pictorial - I was farming zombie skins in North Ro and running up to each mob and giving it a couple of whacks when I realized this was not very time effective, so I did a low-level version of what I think SK's now call "swarming" and what druids have always called "quad-kiting" (although now more than just 4 mobs). It's such fun to gather up a bunch of mobs that don't harm me then plow them down with an AoE.
This screen shot reminds me a bit of one from "Has Anyone Here Seen My Corpse?":
This group of undead shortly became dead...again:
