Coming back on Bertoxx server after 9 years :O

Hey ! Yeah so as it says in the subject I stopped playing EQ 9 years ago, had been playing since the Kunark expension and stopped a bit after LoY. Anyways, I've got 8 characters looking for a guild, and I'll need a good refresh I guess --> had quite a surprise when my wood elf returned to the game in a Firiona Vie full of Dragoons.... !

Also, I had that brilliant, incredibly naive idea that selling all my gear (and apparently destroying the rest) was going to keep me away from the game for ever... well, anyways, I'll let you make up your own idea about that... The thing is, I have a lvl 50 ranger totally naked (still got to see what's in the bank, but I presume there's nothing). So here are my main characters in case any guild or teammate would be interested in helping me getting started again.

Wood elf Ranger lvl 50
Barbarian Warrior lvl 44
Dwarf Paladin lvl 25
Iksar Monk in its 20s

also got a rogue, a shaman, a druid and a another warrior, all in their 20s and under.

Anyways, I'm not expecting much, but just in case, I thought it was worth asking... (I'm also a very ignorant forum user, so please tell me if this post is in the wrong place or something, never been much of a forum kind of guy.... :P )

If you purchased at least Dragons of Norrath (DoN, circa early 2005) expansion or later, you can go to the Guild Lobby off of Plane of Knowledge in the SW corner of the center part of zone (straight South of Bazaar door), and there are builtinboards in corners of that small zone you can click on to see what guilds are advertising for recruits and their listed requirements / focus / etc., as well as post that you are seeking a guild. Also, ask in /general (/join general, then /general 50 Rng looking for a guild, or whatever as an example).

Read the stickied new and returning players thread at the top of this forum. It will get you a long way on getting up-to-date. You may also want to read the expansion release patch notes, of which, most can be found linked in the following thread: https://everquest.allakhazam.com/forum.html?forum=1&mid=130800292372465845#4

This is the correct place to post any EQ related questions as all of the other EQ related forums are now defunct. Some still exist but rarely get posted in / looked at and are not linked in the normal menu anywhere to desuade their use.

Thank you very much for the info ! As a matter f fact I was able to gather a few pieces of gear and some pp from my 7 characters and equip my ranger for the moment (gotta LOVE that "new" share bank thing they added !). Could also claim some useful rewards so I'm actually in quite a better shape than I ever thought I'd be !
