My ranger is currently 67 using the lvl 40something defiant bow and unfortunately I don't have the money to buy the horribly overpriced ones in bazaar. Does anyone know of a decent bow I can get from a solo quest or I can farm at that lvl or in the next couple lvls? Thanks.
I can't think of anything right away, but shot in the dark here, which server are you on?
If my info wasn't 5+ years old, I'd try and remember what the good bows were back around those days, but I'm pretty sure my old knowledge is useless now hah
The cheapest option is the elaborate defiant bow( for lvl 59-70) .they are so numerous that my trader cannot sell them for more than 10pp each ..otherwise they wont sell and hog limited trader satchel space.

Unfortunately I'm on zek, with the low population a lot of the defiant gear seems to be kind of expensive, especially the weapons. The cheapest elaborate bow I've seen was around 10k.
Isn't there a bow that drops in DSH that has a required level of 65, or maybe it is another one of the SoF tier 1 zones. I would take a look at that, they became cheap real quick after a couple weeks of the expansion because it was so common. Steamwork bow or something like that.

Ahh... Okay.
That is extremely high....Must be the law of supply and demand at its very worst lol.
I know that in Loping Plains they used to drop off of the bloodmoon (orcs) warriors,brawlers and rogues iirc.
Grovers probably nailed it, a tier 1 bow from SoF would be the best bet for something you could handle, and something actually worth it.

All right, I'll give it a shot, thanks guys.
You might be able to obtain cliffwood bow which I think would be an upgrade over a level 40s bow (even defiant).

Nice, I assume he has an Ornate Defiant or Flawed Defiant bow, either one of which would be decently upgraded by that too.
My first stop would be the bazaar to see what is for sale. Then If you want to loot/earn it look it up here.
