ranger sword?Follow

can rangers good with swords or they only do high damage with the bow.im new to the game

Well a ranger shooting at a non rooted stationary target does double damage using a bow. Add in the crits they can get then at times, without using a bow discipline a ranger will do more damage then with a melee weapon. But usually a dual wielding ranger with good weapons will have greater damage over a bow. Take into consideration weapons and bow, look at damage vs speed of weapon.
