Eagerly awaiting for the servers to open back up and hopefully when I log my characters on in POK I will see 100+ population in the zone and 3 general chat channels..Just like when I started the game...for all the worry etc with the F2P/silver etc...it could be a rebirth for the group game.

Until they add buff timer suspension to PoK, you're still going to only see people clustered in the guild hall. I'm also hoping for an uptick in player population. And while I'd also hope for a little more ease in grouping, I suspect that people will be looking at the opportunity for silver-level box accounts.

I am definitely quite excited about the prospects of this transition.

Points understood. I'm still hoping to see a lot of low lvl characters running around on my server (AB). Which we've had the good fortune to experience twice in the last year when all other servers were down after a patch except AB Smiley: smile.

Re: The Silver package boxed accounts. I three box a SK/Necro(main) and Shammy but am not so sure if a boxed silver account healer(Cleric/Shammy or Druid) could compliment a melee/tanking main charcter in anything near current content, with the severe limitations on gear,AA's and Rk1 spells. In my case I would not start a Silver fourth box (for cc etc) because in its present state the character would fall to far behind with the current restrictions on Rk1's/gear/aas etc when it reaches lvl 90..

So from SOE's business perspective I think they have made it so on purpose. Enticing anyone who wants to add an account for bolstering their (gold acct.) main when not grouping or raiding to still upgrade to or purchase a Gold account.

But for a real newbie or returning player who's main character is below level 70 and low on AA's. If they are playing F2P or Silver, having boxed accounts is icing on the cake. It wouldnt matter for possibly a long while, depending on playstyle.

Yes,despite some concerns.. I'm also quite excited about the prospects if it strikes gold.

If the developers correct any widely unpopular issue or blunder early on and many return and stay it could be "fairy tale" stuff for EQ and keep me playing until I'm an old man Smiley: grin .
