Selling a 100k Bridle on a F2P AccountFollow

Hi all,

I at one time had multiple accounts. On one I had a character that I bought a 100k PLAT horse for. I decided to empty out this account, and it was in F2P status (Free 2(to) Play) status. I sold the bridle in the stables in the Bazaar.

I recieved my bag of platinum from the Stable hand. When I sold it toa merchant, I recieved a very shocking and annoying response. I recieved 25k for the bridle and 45k was DESTROYED and LOST because it was NOT a GOLD account.

Just a FYI for you guys if you are clearing out a toon from a previously unlimited account.

What level is that toon? I originally thought it was 1K per level, till I made a toon, and at 1st level could only do 99 or 100pp, forget which worked, but 101 didn't. So, then I thought 100 per level (maybe -1), but for 25K, that would mean you'd have to be 250th level Smiley: tongue.

25K is at least descent, but still no where what you'd need to get really expensive stuff. Seems like even SoF quested armor could cost over that per piece depending on how you went about doing it.

Oh, and was 25K your total (what you had all together after selling the bridle)?

IIRC its 500 per level for silver. I believe you're thinking of bronze.

Free is 100 pp per level. Silver is 500 pp per level. So, I'm guessing that we're talking about a 50th level character on a (now) Silver account.

They should really have made it so you just can't sell it instead of destroying all that money.

Or done what LotRO does with their gold cap -- have an "overflow" accessible after you buy an account upgrade... now I'm worried about what's going to happen to the cash in my bank when my gold account lapses into Silver status
