question on how AA exp is calculatedFollow

Trying to figure out the best way to grind some AA. My current trio consists of a lvl 70 warrior, lvl 70 rogue, and a lvl 74 mage. Rogue has 170AA war 320, mage 365ish.

From what I have been seeing it seems like if your lvl 55 killing even conned enemies you get the same AA as you do at lvl 74 killing an even con enemy. Of course the problem with this is the even con at lvl 74 takes quite abit more time than a lvl 55 did.

So I am wondering what happens when you shroud? Right now I have been doing the whole with my trio. With the mage I shroud to lvl 70. Mage seems to earn AA just as fast as my other toons do.

I guess now on to my question. Anybody know what would happen if I was to say shroud to lvl 55 and put 100% into AA in a zone with lvl 55 enemies. I know as shroud I will loss alot of my power but a tank/heal/melee merc would prob make up with it. As a matter of fact I could prob get my friend to bring an alt in that lvl range to make a 6th person.

Would the exp gain be just like a lvl 55 player with 100% into AA, or will it be severely penalized where my toons are 70+?

Also on the topic of AA I have heard rumors floating around in-game about June they plan to double the speed we earn AA but I have not found anything posted on the O-boards etc.

I thought shrouded AAXP was nerfed to the bone? Odd.

Have you tried your trio in the hotzone that is light blue kills to your mage (highest char)? Fast-mowing of hotzone lb's tends to be great AAXP.

You'll be more efficient once you team is all at the same level in my view. For example, at 70 I was still able to soak up great xp in blackfeather roost... but I'm not sure 74 it's as effective.

The problem is the 3 mercs (tank,melee/dps and healer in this case) split the aaxp like in a normal group and get the original group xp bonus, but do not get the newer real player/group bonus mod that real players get - the one that came out with a patch before VOA release iirc..While as you said, your box trio would lose dps by being shrouded.

If I was in your shoes without a player/healer in your trio. I would just use one healer merc only (if possible re the content your doing) and your trio in a zone with LBlue or higher cons to the 74 Mage. Since your 3 characters are within 5 levels of one another you do not recieve any xp penalties. Though as Snailish said, aaxp is calculated based on the mobs con to the highest level player in the group.

Also, as all three characters in your trio have under 400 AAs your aaxp will be boosted well above normal till 2500 AAs iirc..though it tapers off noticeably after 1300-1500ish aas. But it is still clearly better than the aaxp that a similar level character with over 2500 aas would get in the same group.
