Okay so I have been soloing in Loping Plains for wayyyy too long. I've got an 82 wiz and need a new solo spot or something...I'd love to group but I really don't know anyone anymore and I stop/start playing a lot. Any ideas?

Hi,
If you are adept at Wizard kiting, the "Rampaging Boneguards" (78-80 ) in Hills of Shade are the next step up from 77-79 mobs at the top end of Loping Plains. Mixed in with them are some "Feral Frighteners" (mobs with a halloween-pumpkin head) which cast a stun/spin spell. But once you time it and sit when you see the mobs casting the spell (look for casting message in your chat window) you will not be stun/spinned...You do not want to ae kite 4 feral frighteners simultaneously though as you will lose efficiency trying to evade stuns and it could get ugly.
They are all in a sunken field just west north west of the zi from Loping Plains.
