Super busy in real life due to work (and still not really recovered from moving).

I did manage to play for 1/2 a lesson burn on the weekend. Yep, I can still kite.

I took advantage of the marketplace sale to use up all the "free" station cash I had been granted since F2P ...one of my "joke rolls" (female drakkin) that turned into a main is now a male erudite, now to get him into a non-robe look :)

I have no idea where the weekend went but I know I thought about playing but never got on the computer to play. It was a fun Father's Day weekend with my family that consisted of me cooking ribs and other delicious food, then heading to the pool Saturday and Sunday. Cannot remember much else other than eating and swimming so it must have been a good weekend!

Well for me it was a busy work weekend. Over 40 Sailing ships in town for Sailabration 2012 to commemorate the anniversary of the War of 1812. Lots of beautiful ships, and visitors.

On Friday night, for the first time in a LOOOOONNNG while, Elne Clare, who was playing EQ when I met her, was coaxed into playing her first toon Primose(x). A fun time was had as we burned LOD in the steppes. I was playing my Beast. Picked up a few aa on both toons. Later that nigh a kind person showed me the quick tasks that could be done in Bloody Kith and I picked up more aa for her.

Saturday and Sunday were spent doing a few more quests on other toons and killing in the steppes. Jonwin is about to hit 72 and Ill see about moving him on to direwind. Though I did find out that with his armor upgrades he can solo the gnolls in steppes.
With the station cash I bought an extra merc for the shaman, and a few exp pots.

I also bought the expansion for both accounts.

So far the move to FV has been well worth it in double xp alone. I have managed to get tier three finished in SOD also. The double xp is an amazing thing when you add LOD or a potion to it, especially to someone who can only scrape together a few hours a week of playtime. Summer is screaming, hard to believe it is nearing the end of June!

Just a correction: FV does not have double XP. That's Test. FV's bonus is "only" 50% (double xp is 100% bonus).

I didn't really do anything this weekend. Had some new additions to the FV squad, including the first beastlord ever (I've always hated that class but now I have to accept at least one of them) that I had to gear (and train, since two of the four had been heavily PL'd). It seems like whenever I try to convince an old guildie to return to EQ, I wind up with another account (or four) when they outright refuse but give me the "but if you're still playing, might as well take my toons so they don't go to waste cuz I'm never comin' back" spiel. I've heard everything from "those models hurt my eyes now" (I can relate. As much as I love AO, their models hurt my eyes now) to "I don't have time for EQ's timesinks" (I'm guessing other games mask their timesinks better, since they all have them), and everything in between. I need to stop trying to get people to come back. My bank account growled at me on Saturday. Smiley: tongue

I pretty much spent the last of my SC last weekend, buying a merc slot for each account, as well as the 3 character slot packs (plus lots of cute little things, you all know how that goes Smiley: lol ) . Then I started to work on my last 2 Xegony characters, an SK and Enc, getting first the SK to 20 and transfering, and finally the Enchantress just arrived at level 20 shortly before I made this post.

Dyadem... yay I can finally have my 1 female toons name.

"I want to be a unicorn!"

"So I can stab people with my face."

No EQ for me for the last week. A lot of traveling. Taught a lot of scuba diving. Was the co-best man in a wedding. It made for a blur of a week.

I am itching to get back online, maybe tonight. With the new AA bonus curve live on Test, I have a bard with 9 AA total, so I want to see how rediculous the AA is. Hotzone + Test EXP bonus + LotD + new AA curve. Can I get more than 1 AA per kill?
